Emberstorm - is it worth it?

I was wondering about the skill Emberstorm. It doesn't seem like it's worth getting. Dragon's Breath already is a great spell, and doesn't eat your hp. My Dragon's Breath has been leveled and I don't want to feel like I'm wasting my SP getting another spell that acts the same way, especially one that can eat up to 60% HP.

What are your opinions?

    Generally considered a wasted spell. In the Hell version it has a cool stun for 50%, at which point people use it to trigger it, and cancel it as quickly as possible. In general though, unless your a hell mage lev 89 with the book, its a waste.

    Keep it at level 1 and off course, dont let it charge if you use it.

    I'll level it to lvl 10 at lvl 92 when I get the demon book with 50% chance of stun
