PvE Tanking

Okay I'd like to weigh in on y'alls opinion about whats better for PvE tanking..

reduce physical damage +x% and physical resist

or

+vit

Now I was talking with a 9X barb who uses a tt90 polehammer for tanking.. it only has reduce and phys resist.. compared to like.. star axes that have +vit and the gloom skill

It seems to me the +vit would be better .. more health.. better tank .. and the phys resist and reduce damage only helps against the physical hits .. no effect for magic attacks

the only reason i see getting the tt90 polehammer would be building for tt99 polehammer (which is really good stat wise.. but no skill on it).. personally i'd pick scarlet axes if i was going for a tt99 tank weapon because of the faith skill

what do y'all think

    Devarsi, both Temp and I use TT90 polehammer to tank and it is great.
    Reduce 2% damage > 300 HP.

    You save a lot of charm in the long run too.

    i'd like to see a comparison of charm saved in a TW though.. i think most of your damage taken then is magical.. therefore using it to pull a cat would be worthless ...

    i mean for bosses i guess it makes sense.. since most are whacking at you with physical attacks...

    Oh, I enjoy wacking people with my zerk axe too much during TW so i don't use polehammer during TW.
