What happened in the past two months?

Well well I quit PW two months ago due to the lack of competitive TWs in Radiance and some RL issues. Looks like a lot happened and I missed quite some drama. I read some posts here and noticed Enrage is the top guild and HT has much more TW activities now.

Good times, I know. It does bother me to read so many boasting posts and flames from Enrage to Radiance however. I still remember the “no Bragging on WC” in radiance guild chat after each of our TW victories. I understand a lot of loud talkers are ex-RoC members and that has always been the style of some of their members, especially they are in the top guild now. What I don’t get is that some ex-rad members seem to have changed a lot judging from their words on this forum. They were all really nice fellows and I understand the guild might have changed and they left for places that fit them better. But why turning against your former guild/guildmates when you guys fought together for like half a year?

I was away during this time, but I do have my own speculations. It is much easier to unify a group of people sharing common beliefs. The common belief in Radiance was simple: being nice and having fun. But soon it was twisted to a much more aggressive one: defeating RoC, under which we recruited so many more members, sometimes simply based on their levels/classes. Along the way we had problems emerging all the time, for example, the argument between pvpers and pvers, not enough guild activities other than TWs and people feeling ignored. However, at that time the goal to defeat RoC was so strong that some of the problems seemed to be trivial and had been ignored. This finally ended when we went through weeks of no real TWs, and I heard Hong quit not too long after I did. Without an opponent to compete with, many people became less active and quit. Problems used to be overlooked started to take much more serious effects and finally led to the mass exodus.

So whose fault is this? Some may blame the leader and officers, and some may blame the ones that left for better places. Yes the dinosaur is faulty too. I have to give credits to the leaders: Kitty, June and Cherish. Along with many other officers, they have done a lot for the guild, not enough to certain people's standard, but much much more than what I would like to do for a game. I also knew quite a few of those ex-rad people. They were all really nice, fun to hang out with, and used to be very dedicated to the guild. The answer to the question is of no importance now anyway. Looks like Radiance survived its hardest time and is finally ready to move on. I have my faith on Kym, Neoz, Rawt and Edya.

Yes, yes I am fully aware that this is all but a game and people do not and should not take things seriously. As for the flames I mentioned above, everyone has their own right on posting anything. I am not QQing, whining or flaming anyone. As an outsider for the past two months, I am simply just surprised to see the changes on the community I used to be familiar with and like to share my thoughts. So enlighten me please, all the lorekeepers on Heavens Tear!

For English being your second language, you sure put a lot of the masses to shame...

It's hard for any side to summarize months of changes and specific events into anything other than a wall of text that will cause the forum to burn down. All that can be said is that there were changes. You seem to hint at some of the points, but they had to be experienced to truly understand.

I have little faith in the new Radiance, even if most of the leadership was on my friends list loooong before things changed. Why? Everything is still the same. The wool is still over the eyes of many. I apologize if my next statement sounds rude, but....it seems if you still have the wool over yours as well.
Don't feel bad. Many of the "friends" I lost after the power shift have the wool over theirs too.

I think it was Rifkind who said that Enrage is what Radiance was supposed to be...in some strange way. She was right.

You should come back to PW since things are changing. Enrage has something in store that will change the server yet again and you won't want to miss it.

Anywho, back to TT. Gotta farm mats to sell to Radiance members on Friday so I can buy charms and hope they show up to defend their land for once.

1) Yep Rad does that, on WC and on the forums.
2) It was actually a NON Enrage member who wrote the poems. Dont be Jealous.
3) Uhm yep Rad did that too, to RoC and to Enrage before Enrage beat them. They probably would have done it to other guilds if they had actually faught any other guild that wasnt dead or dying before RoC that gave them a fight back.

Rad's own leader(Charity) has been banned not once but twice for breaking game rules, and they have done every single thing Enrage has including pking, killing oracle bosses(without waiting in line), trash talking, etc etc etc. All the proof is right here on these forums in writing by Rads own members, most proudly admiting to doing the stuff.

Is all of Rad bad.. nope.. but they damn sure are no more angels than Enrage.

Hai Menthu! Nice to see you around again.

Basically the power shifted from Radiance over the Enrage (Told Charity to kill Enrage early but she said she wanted to let them grow into a competitor >.>) and basically Charity got banned for a week for bogus reasons, after LOTS of guild drama Charity withdrew from the game not wanting to feel stress from something that is suppose to be a fun game. Unfortunately while she was doing this she was also moving house and didn't have the motivation to really log back into the game to contact anyone else. As a result of the missing leader many members left and left Radiance weakened, after Charity logged back in Radiance is now under new leadership hoping to rebuild.

Anyways difference between Enrage and Radiance is that even though sometimes Radiance members boast or trash-talk, it is highly discouraged, or at least it's suppose to be.

Thanks Cat for clarifying, I get it now. Radiance use to boast on WC and on forum, taunt other factions, etc. They have now stopped and that is why alot of Radiance members left and join Enrage to continue with Radiance's tradition of being obnoxious.

This quote from Defected now makes perfect sense:

If you plan to post on a public forum for everyone to see, make sure everyone knows what's going on, as not everyone is in either guilds and won't know the inter-guild drama.

Actually Radiance used to NEVER taunt other factions, after each TW victory they'd repeat in guild chat "Do not WC" over and over. As far as I'm aware Radiance also doesn't taunt other guilds on the forums, the closest thing I can remember is when Radiance was at the height of it's power and I invited all guilds to attack them, but that was 1 or 2 posts.

Good to see you again Menthu, since most failed to actually answer your question, I 'll give you a run down of what happen from my POV cause that seems to be what you asking for.

RoC quit fighting back in TW- Many of the guild (Rad) want ed to test Evo, or legion - Charity would have none of it

RoC core members quit- the remaining players went to form Enrage

Charity bid on a dead RoC the next week, she also stated in Rad's forums she wasnt sure what to do and put a poll up to ask the members. The poll was overwhelmingly onesided around 85% of the people that voted wanted to atk atleast a guild that still exsisted.

After the poll she came online to bid at the last min, she decided to not listen to the guild and attack the dead RoC again. I pushed the leave guild button at the same time.

Forbidden, Element, Frozen, etc all were in this new guild Enrage so I figured what the hey there all cool and a new faction. Myself and about 20 or so other Rad members joined Enrage that same night.

Since then Rad leader got banned- then after she was unbanned she decided not to log in for a week and a half. Most of the Old Rad is gone, their leadership failed them.

Kym took over ( no offence kym i like you as a person but as guild leader WOW) not sure what happened their besides Charity just picked her. I believe Charity knows kym will give her back lead though if she comes back. Kym has been a Rad for awhile, and so have a few other that stayed behind to try and put Rad back together.

Last week Rad fought off 19 or so TW's. For some reason the server got it in their heads Rad was gone ROFL. They did show they were still stronger than EVO, and Triad which suprised me. But after that wonderful performance against a couple descent guilds and the btm dwelers of HT. Their recruitment has went up conserderably.

As for Enrage, we dont have much of a challenge, but will continue to chase Rad around the map because they are the SECOND strongest guild on the map. However Ceaser is alot of old Rad blood and have a feeling the will put a new look to the server.

Yea, Kitty was the first offical leader (even though she and a few other all co-founded the guild).

I am not sure why June bid on what she did I don't know if anyone does except maybe June herself. So far Kym has been a absolutely wonderful leader. I know I probably don't want to hear it but I have to ask what exactly did people expect of Radiance I understand some who left because of friends as I would do the same but I do not understand these people saying that it was not what they expected/wanted/thought it should be. ^^ you don't have to respond to me in the forum in fact it might be better if you didn't maybe PMing me would be better. I do still love you all in Enrage even if I am not considered a friend.

^_^ I do however devote all my time that isn't spent with work or friends to Radiance and will continue to do so no matter what happens to it. I am loyal to Radiance and don't care about flaws everything has flaws even perfection has flaws. But I am not picky besides flaws make things interesting something to fix something to talk about.

Read my post again I said radiance didnt taunt any factions besides RoC and Enrage before we beat you. Rad damn sure taunted RoC every chance they got. THey also did the same to enrage in the few weeks before we did attack you.

And no you didnt taunt any of the guilds before then but what was to taunt? RoC was the first guild you guys faught that gave you a fight back.

Vs RoC I only remember taunting after the 10 second victory which was mostly due to the surprise. Rest of the time I recall Radiance and Hong being pretty tame about it.
