Caesar

Meaning of Caesar
Title of imperial character. It derives from the cognomen of Julius Caesar, the Roman dictator.

Today, it meant emperor,a dictator,a conqueror

Introduction

Caesar was formed when a group of real life friends decided to come together as a faction. Name was founded by AhToOt. We came from all over perfectworld,different factions. However, it was never a new radiance.

    um.....application process seems very similar with the one from Rad. Could be just coincidence tho i guess.

    If u have know us earlier, you would know the application process is different. We've just revised our process to minimise confusions

    Brutus is a Roman cognomen used by several politicians of the Junii family, especially in the Roman Republic. The plural of Brutus is Bruti, and the vocative form is Brute, as immortalized in the quotation "Et tu, Brute?".

    Salve! Quid est hodie?

    Caesar is actually pronouced Kaesar as there we no K's in latin and all C's were pronounced as Ks.

    There were also no W's in latin and all V's were pronounced as Ws.

    Yea for 4 years of latin!

    You should also make the rule that all guilds must say:

    Ave Caesar! Morituri te salutamus.

    before they fight you.

    hmm salutamus? sorry i didnt take latin lessons, but usually heard "salutant", is your version a change to say "hail Caesar! we salute those who are going to die"? :)

    Nope "my version" isnt "my version" it is the orginal quote used by gladiators before a match. Go ahead and google it.

    It translates to:

    Hail Caesar! We who are about to die salute you.

    Interestingly enough it was even a question on Jeopardy this past week.

    I have respect for Caesar already because instead of trying to pick on a "weaken" Rad they went after Ely and beat their butts red and im a lvl 76 cleric in a good faction going through troubles and if it doesnt work out i would love to try to join

    No no, just let Radiance gobble up the map and never attack them since the only strategic choice would be multiple attack and that's just wrong.

    Let's have monthly map resets so nobody actually has to attack another faction since thats mean. =[

    Ask anyone from Radiance and they will tell you it didn't hurt their feelings one bit.
