    barbs kinda sucks in pvp or pk cuz of the low attack rate and the accuracy, a full tank build can be good in pvp only with good accuracy equipments and meabe using usually armageddon/perdition when enemys are near to use their charms (against magic enemys) don't even try against bms, u'll get mainly pwned

    correct!...and incorrect at the same time. barbs can kick **** at the 80's. more specifically, lvl 85 when they get both str of the titans and axe/hammer mastery. 60% physical attack bonus+30% physical attack bonus=DOUBLE DAMAGE. not to mention berserk weapons, which deal double damage at the cost of 5% hp.     The heavens tear guy is wrong. If you max bloodbath you'll do fine and use a CHARM stay away from bms and own all else.

    The main reason to stay away from bms is because they have dex and high hp, barbs worse nightmare

    It is. Damage of 8X mage vs 8X barb

    This shows damage from a while ago from Haiz two shoting a 8X barb. Magic kills O.O .

    Barbs really own once they get they calamity, i'm lvl70 atm but i already own like mad other classes...sum ppl even think i'm 77 hehe and once barb hits lvl89 always choose sage, i havent seen any successful demon barb so... anyways, make sure u follow tank build nd max humanoid skils first, thats how it goes down on pvp server...in pve max true form skills first then max humanoidb:victoryps: barbs r the best end characterb:victoryb:laugh

    Do note, SoT only derives the added damage from your weapon attack, not the actual base-to-max physical attack displayed on your character page:

    "Physical damage increases by 30% of weapon attack. Lasts 30 minutes."

    Not to ruin your hopes or anything, but the books for these two skills are VERY rare. They do not drop in FB89; you can only get them from either cube or FB99.

    Another side note - there are many other ways to get crit than just dex, i.e. rings, crit blessing, elite arrow. Plus the fact that you get 1% crit to begin with at level 1. Take all these into account, and you can easily get 7%+ crit b:victory
    Berserk Weapon of Choice -Double Damage at the Cost of 5% HP

    Lastly, you can put into your recipe that berserk has a 15% chance to proc. Thus, it's almost like having another 15% crit ^^

    The main kicker in Barbs as far as crit goes is the Beastial Onslaught, although so few people have this skill.

    Beastial Onslaught - Demon version grants 35% increased critical hit rate for 6 seconds.

    b:shocked Skill has 8 second cooldown.

    Oh b:question? Thats very surprising. I'd have thought every single barb would have got it maxed (whether PvP or PvE) since:
    1. Reduces enemies evasion by 50% + never misses for Sage or 35% crit for Demon.
    2. Our only practical ranged skill (i.e. which can be cast frequently).
    3. Real nice damage.

    My mistake. Most barbs in both PVP and PVE servers have this skill maxed as far as possible. What I meant was very VERY few barbarians have the HEAVEN/HELL SKILLBOOK for the skill.

    Wow, could you be more incorrect?

    I assume you mean with the acc equipment you're going to use Bloodbath to predtion someone? Terrible Idea. You should be using an Accuracy apoth pot to boost your acc against eva heavy classes.

    I can kill the majority of bms my level with relative ease.

    It's called Double spark> anti stun pot> Devour> goodnight bm

    Bms drop quick if they can't stun you =p

    not sure about the correct answer to this.. but to me.. it would seem that fighting a BM in tiger form would be the best idea

    first you have poison fang.. 30% added wood damage.. now that wood damage will probably make up for your 50% reduced tiger form damage because your tiger form damage is physical.. BMs will have a ton of pdef but not as much mdef .. so your wood damage will give you a nice boost there

    then you have devour .. which uses a **** ton of chi but reduces pdef more than penetrate armor (50% compared to 30%)

    also you'll have your increase pdef and health from tiger form.. so that bm will be hitting for less and have more hp to chew through

    I pop out imediately after I use devour, then I use beastial onslaught> Might Swing> Penetrate amror>slam, the bm is dead after that or before depending on your zerks/ zerk crits

    TIP-Wood atk buff works in human form too. You only have to use the buff in tiger to apply it

    One thing i haven't Noticed anyone mention for pvp is Invoke the Spirt.

    This skill reduces 90% damage for 20 sec. Thats all damage magic and phy. Most fights even pk with charms don't last that long even if they do you can build the chi back up in time to cast it again. Now true you have to be in Tank form to cast it its not that bad considering the reduced damage. Bms my lvl are not a problem i have even beaten them at 70 with this skill. Clerics are so damn squishy its crazy. Cast this skill and then attack em and they are done takes 3 shots at most if your a dps barb like myself. Same goes for Wizards and Venos. Venos Bramblehood is useless when you cast this skill you may hit yourself for 10 hp a hit meanwhile the veno is getting the full damage. So i just thought i would mention this too you all thanks for hearing me out questions and comments are requested as long as the are not rude or scathing. And honestly.......b:angry BARBS FOR THE WIN ALL THE WAYb:victory

    Invoke the Spirit is an incredible skill, and I had the same thoughts as you when I first started using it. Unfortunately, its not as great in PvP as you might think. It's really only useful against BM's, but they're going to have you stunned for most of that 20 seconds anyway. Every other class is just going to see you use the skill and take off running while your speed is decreased. It's good to surprise people with if they dont know about it, but you're going to beat those people anyway because they probably dont know what they're doing, lol.

    Also, it has a 60 second cool down. So building the chi back up and spamming it isn't really an option. b:surrender

    My best suggestion - save your sparks and erupt them in peoples faces. Invoke the Spirit is best used as a panic button while tanking+pulling, and it really is amazing in that respect.

    Very good point that i didn't even realize maybe i just haven't come acrossed the problem yet thank you but how about this make up for it by popin a speed pot not only increase your speed but make yourself faster in the process by popping the swift voilet speed pot 100% speed increase?

    Heh... I know being more or less invincible for 20 seconds is a very attractive prospect, but with our incredibly high def+HP I think its unnecessary. In PvP I concentrate on dealing as much damage as I can as quickly as possible and let my inherent survivability worry about the whole "dying before they do" thing. b:pleased

    But hey, keep experimenting with it and combining with timing+pots, you might be on to something. I know a popular tactic with wizards is to teleport away then Sutra you to death, Invoke might be a good answer to that.

    dude I never use bloodbath + perdition, that's just useless, and since I said I use it only against robe users why the hell should I use bloodbath ? It is not needed, read better before reply next time

    oh, and we are talking of the class quality, using potions/herbs is not a barb skill as far as i know, and I don't want to carry with me herbs for duels and pvp rofl

    It's like to say "ehy a wizard can easily pwn a bm using the 6 second immune to damage potions"

    This is why you will be OWNED in higher lvl pvp. It all SEEMS fine and dandy NOW for you i'm sure. Pking 70+ robe wearers and all.

    o.O poison fang really works on humanoid? i thought the effect only added wood damage to your attacks while in tiger form

    poison fang does work in humanoid form

    you just need to go to tiger, cast poison fang, go back to humanoid and fight on. the effect of poison fang still lasts

    Max it. Bloodbath fills an incredible gap in our class, essential skill imo, equally valuable for PvP and even PvE when trying to maintain aggro against high lvl DD's and low atk% mobs/bosses. GREAT SKILL!!!
