Molds for chips but not correctly programmed?

Why does the lvl 70 mold: Dark pants of hedes cost 24 chips and the Light Armor version only 2 chips?

Are you trying to tell clerics and wizards that arcane gear is ****? And thet should get Light armor because its ridculous cheaper?

Ok ok it's nice to have a merchant who sells molds but this the same as a catshop selling scarlet fruits for 1.2 mil. Nobody is buying it :S

What is going on here, why is it so high. I can understand that the Cape of Tauran Chieftain is 200 chips because its a good cape but thats something anyone can wear.

And why do most of the quest rewards only hand out 3star Light armor or heavy armor gear and never any 3 star arcane armor? FK the 3star elemental belts.

    I too have noticed that many of the prices seem to be very inconsistent, like your example with Hedes pants. Fat fingers programming, or working as intended, the (perfect) world may never know.

    I think the GM/development team just inserted something and never looked back at it. They probably were rushing to meet the deadline.

    Yes, or maybe not because there is also a heavy plate version that costs 4 chips I believe..

    Exactly. Terribly inconsistent. Maybe there's a good reason, idk. The drop rate for mothers auras is actually about half the devil soul according to pwdatabase, so I'm guessing that's not a factor. Again, we may never know, and it probably won't ever change.

    the prices depends on the drop rates when dropping the mold from mobs

    Common drops are cheaper than hard to get ones.. look at steppenwolf lord's cape ;)

    for exemple.
    I look at all the trollers, and Pvpers.. and know they wouldnt have lasted 30sec on Camelot.

    Rules= Know your enemy (players and NPCs) gives you more chances to survive.

    I see Calamity Axes of blood mold drop more often then those clothing gear molds -_-

    difficuluty of boss may be a factor here.. well for this 1 example that is really quite bad ( no offense) its just that the devil soul boss is well....unplesant for a full squad while mother aura boss is soloable by a herc veno
    the most unfair thing i cna think of is the lvl ~78 or so molds like said light/heavy get cheap mold , while arcane get expensive one

    ring of heavenly lords are also surprisingly quite cheap, kinda a wierd one there

    also devil souls were 350 chips LONG ago if i recall (which while still a LOT, its a lot better then 538) , right up about until diety got his

    a lot of chip costs got tweeked a few months ago, not really to a more fair balance though from what i recall (some cheap ones got even cheaper, some expensive ones got more expensive)

    Also keep in mind you still have to pay coins in addition to chips. So some molds might only take a few chips but require more gold or vice-versa. Even still there's a lot of inconsistency though...

    Yeah I always wondered why I would get so much light armor and heavy stuff I couldn't use from quests.

    Maybe the devs played other games and always got owned by mage users. Now, this is their payback. =(

    Blade / Sword sucks. If you are trying to justify it you are either Severan from Lost City (the BladeMaster with 8k evasion and 7k HP) or you haven't seen the might of a GX yet.

    The GX is expensive because it's worth it.
