one thing that this game realy bad style blows on is the music, its all so incredibly boring and makes u wonna fall to sleep just hearing it,

i no its completly possible for the GM's to put there own kind of music in there to maby fit the game or just put some half decent tracks into the BGM,

i play the game with the music permantly muted, i do play my own music but i still think a game needs its own BGM thats actualy worth hearing instead of the current garbage on atm,

its just a thought thats always been in my mind and thought id share it out here if the GM's are much interested that is.

I play final fantasy songs in the back ground ^__^

I agree, background music needs a lot of help.
    Death Note Rule #18
A god of death cannot be killed even if stabbed in his heart with a knife or shot in the head with a gun. However, there are ways to kill a god of death, which are not generally known to the gods of death.

Step 1. Turn off all BGM and SFX in game
Step 2. Play in windowed mode
Step 3. Hit up iTunes in background
    Step 5. Play favorite songs.
    Step 6. Profeit.
    Back.

just thought i would point out that bit into red,
i do play my own music cos this games BGM is terrible,
granted we can play our own music, but a game should also have its own BGM that when listening to it, you dont want to either commit suicide, or speaking for real, fall to sleep.

You're in the minority. Most people like the overall atmosphere of the game, a large part of which is the slow paced, traditional chinese bgm.

Without it, PW is just another WoW clone. It's what draws new players into the game. They won't change something that defines this game.

I agree. Personally, I like the Chinese music. But, Im more of a slow paced kind of guy; I like to take it all in. Especially the scenery. Also, I like Ancient China which is one of the main reasons I play this particular game over, say WoW. I don't think that this game would go well with rock in the background lol. I don't see why everyone hates the music.

Lol, it's illegal to edit anything. People edit character appearance often enough though. I wonder if they can detect it...b:chuckle

The music suits the game. On that note, stop QQing about it, and go play it. Either that, or leave it, and find a game with background music that suits your tastes, then.

They do have an in-game link to a web music player called slacker.com. Its the headphone icon under public relations. I like to listen to the comedy channel while I play.

There now you have an alternative to iTunes and all you cable internet ppls can see what its like to have to play on a satellite connection.

The music does get repetitive pretty fast and some of the songs got boring/annoying fast(er), but overall the music is very fitting and well themed and at first very inspiring.

<== Has the BGM on quiet

The problem with bgm is that it sounds all time, there should be more ambience sound with an occasional tune.

And also add more ones, maybe battle songs

I think the issue also is if people around you like the music (like in your house).

Agreed. I would LOVE to hear some of the TT songs more often. I love some of the boss fight music on 2-2 (or was it 3-1?).
