You have good guides sticky in this section, but to answer your question.

To make your life easier so you lv up faster go full mag (9mag 1str every 2lv's)
When you hit lv60 would be a good idea to restat to some kind of a vit build + get good equipment with hp bonus. Youll need it for TT (Twilight temple)

About skills, well first worry about cyclone, plume shot, iron heart. Your main skills.
With rest of your spirit get purify, revive and your buffs starting with Vanguard Spirit.
And when you do your lv59 culti and fb get BB (blue bubble - Regeneration Aura)

Other skills are your choice, make a character of your liking ^^

From what I've seen the guides mainly focus on attack...

That being said, I stayed full magic (the 9 mag, 1 str every two levels) until level 45 or so. Then I started pumping vit (9 vit, 1 str) until my vit pretty much matched my level. You can do this at 50 if you like, but I tend to try and go on TT runs at 55 so I'll have my mats for the weapon when I hit 60. You'll also want to shard your armor for HP, but this isn't as vital if you're only going on edge runs. If you're going on full runs, you'll need all the HP you can get. The Drum Lord (Lord of Percussion or whatever) doesn't play around after he gets below 50% health. lol HP is especially important when you get regeneration aura as the need for you in a full TT runs goes way up, and your party can't afford to have you go down in one shot while you're keeping them alive with the bllue bubble. ^^ Up to that point, I see no harm in going full mag, but with a little planning you'll have no need to buy a restat scroll.

I was Full Mag until 77th. I had no issues whatsoever with TT60. Once you start into the *real* AoE Phys Bosses...that's when you should start seriously thinking about restating a bit.

If you can get your HP above 3500-3800 with Barb HP buff and your Phys Resist up too 1800-2200 ( BM Buff ) you should be fine for 99% of the bosses. Once you start thinking about Rebirth quests ( 80+ ) you should be refining your gear like mad.

If you want to avoid restating run with the mainline Vit build ( 7 Mag, 1 Str, 2 Vit every 2 levels ) until you hit 60 or 100 Vit from the beginning. Plan ahead. The problem with this is that your leveling and grinding will *generally* be slower and more expensive from levels 1-70th.

*Generally meaning this doesn't really apply to those who are blessed by having good xp groups 99% of the time.

Lol well honestly, I only have a 30vit
but I have hp in every bit of my armor I have about 2.6k hp
7.2k mp, So I see that as a win win lol.
don't go light armor, no matter how "good" everyone says it is
its horriable for a cleric, good for a veno, but bad for a cleric in their 70's
(LA=less resisted to magic mobs) my lv 60 veno is a lightarmor and dies so easily >.< its only good past lv 89 cuz then all you want to do is really PK.

    Go 9 Vit, 1 Str... (lv 1 to 9999)

Then all your useful for is the Revive button that you can offer everyone. Gem up all your armor with +MP stuff because only idiots gem their gear with +MP stuff on a Cleric. Your major thing to consider on an equip is +MP because like I said, your stupid enough to not get any stats on Mag and decide to go full Vit.

You have like always have to beg people to level up for you, but pro archers like Pandora will QQ at how hard it is to drop your ****.

And use spirit charms for your MP because a Gold Charm will lasts you like a week on a Full Vit cleric with 0 attack power. And umm.. I hope you don't QQ out of this game after lv 10 or so without a friend. Because one Plume Shot costs more MP than your entire MP bar lulz
