Do Wind Widgets increase your flying mount's speed permanently or just for a period of time? and how much do the increase for each widget?

The flying increase is permanent. If you have a low level aerogear you need 20 to increase the speed by .5 then if you do it again you need 40 widgets for .5 m/s and then 80 for the rest of the upgrades.
