Can I re-roll with the same name as a deleted character?

OK title says it all basically. I have a Cleric who is gimped beyond belief, he is level 20 and cant equip any quest reward weapons he gets! DX

I want to delete him and start over but here's my question: after iv waited the UNGODLY seven days it takes to delete him will I be able to make another one with exactly the same name?

    you can use the same name, given that nobody takes it before you do.

    Dunno if they changed it, but I started on other server 4 days before Sanctuary opened. Had a character name I wanted to remake when I swapped over. Even a month + after deletion from a different server, it would not let me use the same name on a new one. And it's not because someone made it on the Sanc server already, because I had tried using it for my first character. At the time, I thought it was just because my Heaven's Tear was still existing. It seems to have kept the name use whether deleted or not, same server or not.

    Looking around iv found people both saying I will be able to and wont, but iv deleted him now so I guess we will all find out in 7 days =)

    If you switch servers you should be able to given no one else has taken the name, if you do not and stay on the same server i am pretty sure you cannot

    i have the name prof on every server. maybe someone took is syvlae.

    What was the problem with this though?

    Did not place attributes in correct locations.

    You can always add dashes to the name.

    I would of bought a reset scroll off of someone and rest my points if you didn't want to buy zen.There was special last week on them.I would of posted this before you deleted it.
