Pet's maximum level

I always notice that when people compare pet stats, they always use "level 90" so I just had to ask... what is the maximum pet level? is it the same as player's maximum level? or does a pet stop leveling after 90?

    Pets level only depends on its owners level. And the pet can only be as high as the level of its owner.

    I think pets can level just as much as players.

    i know that the technical limit to a pets level is whatever the player's level is... i;m just wondering what the ACTUAL limit is. is it, indeed, 150 like a players'? or is it 90, for some reason?

    The max level possible in the game is 105, not 150 just so you know.

    Yes the max a pet can reach is also 150. The reason people say level 90 all the time is because there is a site that lists the stats of a lot of pets when they are level 90.
