What's it like on (NameHere) Server?

Ok, you guys must be getting tired from my nooby questions, but my friend and I would just like to know:

What is it like to play on the PVP server? In previous MMOs we've played, we've played PvE servers, but allow random PK at the expense of penalties.

So I'd just like to know:
1. Is it fun to play in PVP server
2. Do you get killed a lot by higher levels after level 30?
3. Will the players there help you, or will most just kill each other?
4. Which is the newest PVP server?

    I wouldn't even think about pvp untill I am lvl 80 or it is balanced meaning only the same level on each side eg 8vs8 lvl 30s or 40 etc etc.The new one is Harshlands iirc.
    Looking for a decent casual understanding Faction.
