client won't start

so after i press start on the patcher and i go into the client then it just sits there and the backround is there but the log-in box doesn't appear. what do i do?

when did this start?

has your computer had any updates recently? "java, flash,security's(such as firewalls)

if so what updates were installed?

Please try a verify from the launcher to see if you have any corrupted it will also fix it at the same time if there is a client problem.
