Cannot use forums due to hosts filter/**** website construction

I am using a host that "Provides" one of those annoying filters, unfortunatley its error handling is terrible, the following text is placed in pre tags outside any divs, meaning that to view anything on the forums other than the front page I have to scroll 3 screen widths to the right (Thats quite a lot on my 1280 x 1024 screen) happens on all computers, as its the filter server that is causing the error...

This makes the forums unusable, I'm not about to start pouring through your source code to find out where its screwed up, (Especially seeing as you clumsily use javascript to rig the whole forum) but this appears inside <div id="p_topbar">

The reason for this is that the server is used to handling such requests inside iframes and frames rather than through javascript, so I assume its this '/templates/common/swf/GNB.swf?localnum=0' that is missing somehow...

As i said, I'm not going to pour through the code, but please fix whatever it is that is 404-ing, thanks...

(And sorry, but its in dutch, stupid dutch filters...)

Having the same issue with Squid3... it is some type of JavaScript/AJAX issue with Firefox 2/3 that is garbling HTTP. Opera just works fine. There are enough infos about that on the web, just google for 'squid ajax "invalid request"'... unfortunatelly I haven't found a workaround for me yet.

Not sure if this is allowed but, I'll give a translated version too.

    https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/3829

Als je verdere vragen heb, vraag maar raak.

Could you download Live HTTP Headers, and post some screenshots of the headers?
A possible fix would be to slightly edit your POST/GET request and give it a content-length by "Replaying" your request.
( Live HTTP Headers is a Firefox addon. )

Reply for any further questions. ~

I run the forums and all of our web pages through the latest versions of IE 8, Opera 9+, Safari 4+, Firefox 3+ and even IE 7, and they all display them fine.

Make sure you have Javascript turned on, and the latest version of Flash installed.

We only officially support Firefox and IE for our websites/forums.
