    I was crushed to learn that TT80 gold armors bind to your character. I kinda had my heart set on a Feng's heavy plate.

    Now,
    1. Why are they bound?
    2. I'm also looking at the TT90 top and it seems marginally better than a TT80 gold top (200pdef and 50HP more on the TT90).

    So I guess what I'm asking is, Is the TT80 gold stuff worth it? Its like a 6mil investment and it cant be traded or sold or decomposed into anything useful.

    So why would anyone get it? (Heh I love the look on Feng's plate b:chuckle).

      It's worth getting because it's vastly superior to TT80 green (except for bracers)

      As for TT90....It's probably not worth it unless you get the whole set.

      Having equipment bound means you can't lose it should you wanted outside in PK mode and forgot your angels in bank.

      But yes, sadly, TT gold is mainly for either the rich with a couple mil to spare or the people who can spend tons of time running TTs.

      no equips are bound unless you use binding stone. exception: quest rewards that can't be traded.

      yep.. i'm sticking with my molds and just getting tt90 green when the time comes.. unless i magically fall into a buncha coin and can afford it ..

      they are bound cause thats how PW set it up haha .. any gold TT item binds when you equip it the first time

      the main reason people get gold tt80 is because it is a lot better than the other armor.. the 80s aren't exactly quick levels so you'll get plenty of use out of it..

      edit: solomon you are very wrong.. any gold TT item auto binds when you equip it

      yea outlaw won't show again.. they won't show to legendary either.. just try to hold their one land against dreaming ...

      also how dare you tie up kitty.. i will have to kill you a bunch in the next TW we have.. so be afraid.. be very afraid.. you might as well not even show

      edit: lol we hijacked this post.. anyway.. yea tt80 gold.. waste of money right asch? .. even though you probably have full gold tt80 cause you are rich b:cry

      Uh, yeah, TT80 Gold's good. I had since 82. +5d it with Beautiful shards before realising I shouldn't have lol. as for my TT equipment; trying to get the Immaculate Shards for all my 90. I WANT LIGHTNING BOLTS!

      does deity even log on anymore? i heard he went to harshlands .. i wish i had your money... omg tt80 + 5 with beautiful shards.. i'd have so much hp o.o

      Deity loggs on everyday, plus she comes to the TWs cause they're fun (cept Outlaw's - but we did have 45+ on us our first TW, which was over in 7mins =\)

      I'm saving up for the 5% HP necklace. It'll help me break 9k HP without buffs. b:chuckle

      As for being 3 wayed.. Probably Regicide, Dreaming and SW I guess (D'Gamers? lol)

      yea maybe .. i think they will hold out hope on outlaws last territory.. unless leg just swoops in with a 25m bid or something like that outright

      which 5% .. swindlers or that mold one ... i think swindlers is better .. but tt90 gold mats >.<

      and I mean the Mold from 1k. That and Dual Misty's + a GX makes me drool.. not that I'll get a GX any time soon lol

      I don't pk much, no TW (not yet anyway). I just like the high HP and pdef on the Fengs set.
      I got all the mats for a Fengs top already. Didnt know until yesterday that it was auto-bound and so now I'm just wondering if the investment is worth it?

      meh your question was answered on the first page .. i replied with my opinion .. its a matter of what you want.. the gear is not end game so its a luxury.. if you have the coin.... or the time to TT your **** off to get all the mats .. go for it.. its good gear .. but you are gonna get no return on investment and .. in my opinion the money would be best saved to buy subs/mats/mirages/orbs for your tt90 gear.. which is probably the best tanker gear in the game until rank 8.. (well tt99 gold chest/leggings are better i think)

      decide for yourself noone is going to give you a clear cut answer

      My opinion is that the 80's should last long enough to get plenty of use out of them. You also don't necessarily need all 4 pieces of gold, just the ones that don't have a suitable cheaper alternative. It sucks that you lose pretty much the entire investment, but 80-90 is a long time to grind the 90 mats, and at least it will be a bit easier with better gear.
