im really a golem fan! good for tanking and decent damage. Tried the snowhare and i honestly think it sucks. But the pet you use depends a lot on your build, gear and mobs you kill. So against magic mobs, id say use an Antelope pup or a frog, for tanking and aggro keeping use a golem or a baby bear, for damage dealing use scorps or acephalids (min lv 70 i think). Try some and see which you like best

Main reason cause they have the best status on higher levels meaning that Golem lvl 35 will have higher status then Equall lvl 35 tamed pet.
Why not Golem lvl 18 cause it has slightly lower status then 17 and way harder to tame since it's Elite.
But when you get rich try to get Phoenix, Piggy(flying version of Golem b:chuckle), Herc.

You gotta be rich to get a piggy now? b:shocked

If you're lazy, 10 bucks on the cash shop will get you one. Farming ingame gold for it shouldn't take too long either.

If you have a magmite, keep it.

Eldergoths worrior are lvl 45... I did use him for a while (untill lvl 58), he had high attack and high hp + hp reg. And he ran faster than golem.. Couldnt hold aggro too well, but he has roar and if u upgrade bash he would. He has some good uses, but I think golem is the best pet of the none rares.

Why limit yourself to just one pet? Different pets have different strengths.
Antelope pups are great against casters (though since most casting opponents also melee a cub is probably better in most situations). Using one I managed to solo Chintien at 60.
Eldergroth Marksmen make excellent pullers between above average speed and range attacks and are also good tanks on things where you want some range such as Slither or Slitt. Both of those are again soloable at 60 using one.
Golems are hands down the best (besides a herc) for physical tanking.
Cubs are 85%? as good as Golems or Antelopes in their specialties but can do both so make good pets on anything that does a mix of attacks.
    Scorpions give you dps.

There's really a lot of pets that are worth having around. A bunny is ok, and can out tank a golem but only against magic creatures, against anything physical the golem is significantly better.

The bunny has decent HP and mdef, but get too close to a mage and they start to melee... diminishing his usefulness.

    Basically:
    PVE- Golem
    Boss support damage dealing- Scorpion
Boss Debuffer - Kowlin, Lunar Lupin, or TreeFrog
    PVP in Secret Passage- Scorpion
    PVP on land - Sawfly
Pulling - Eldergoth Marksman or Kowlin

Select what yall wanna do with your veno, as these are the best at what they do :P

Crystalline/Volcanic Magmite > Torgirn Puppet > Torgirn Brave

For any Veno level 17 or higher. Not counting Herc.

I think any of the Florafangs or Petali's would be better than Marksman. For once they speed is 9+ m/s (Orchid petali is 9.4 m/s), and the Florafangs come with Shrill and the Petalis with Slow (gives you a little extra time before the mobs is on top of you). And as an Added Bonus, Petalis dance for you while you wait....
