Account based friends list

Im not sure if people have already suggested this (most likely they have) but a friends list that is account based would be a very big commmodity. Instead of having to add all your friends individual characters you could just add one and be able to see whenever their other characters are on in parenthesis. Such as, if you add them as their wizard Bob and they are playing their blademaster Joe, it shows up as Bob (Joe) on the friends list. Not sure how hard this would be for the developers but it would definitely be something worth looking into.

    I agree,this would be awesome. Especially, if it could be cross server.

    Exactly, with guildwars it doesnt matter what server you are on or which character, you can see whenever any friend is online as long as they are on your list. I think this would make things much less frustrating with trying to add every character of every friend to all of your characters (if you have multiple ones)
