can someone give me some god detail about what a spark really is and maybe a few details about it.

Not sure if it's at a certain level or when you reach a certain point in your spiritual cultivation, but you will start to get sparks. It will show up next to your chi meter. However many are there is how many sparks you have. You eventually will be able to use skills that require sparks.

Correction: a spark uses chi, 100 to be precise. When you reach the "Harmony" level of Spiritual Cultivation, your chi bar gets a boost and you get to use spark skills which are generally available at lvl 29, which is when you get the cultivation quest.

you get another spark at 29, 59, and 89. andracil's quote sums up everything else.
