Attacking the Trial Pillar??

I was doing an fb run with one of my guildies and our bm starts attacking the pillar in the first room to get chi. I asked her how to do it and she said to ctrl+click the pillar. I tried it but it didn't work. Does anyone else know how to do this cause it's kind of annoying popping into an fb and having no chi.l

You need to be in PK mode (i.e. white named) to attack NPCs.
Be warned once you activate PK mode, it stays active for 10 hrs. In this time anyone can attack you if you are not in a safe zone.
After attacking the NPC you get red named and it will take hours for that to turn white again. Whilst red named you have a increased chance of dropping items if killed and the NPC guards will attack you if you go close to them.

option for blue-named players to get chi is a duel. Not a real one, just some punching til you get full chi. As a veno, easiest way is to spam heal on your pet. Skill or active buff spamming in order to get chi works for any class, just that for some it's a bit painful for a mp charm (if equipped) - i.e. Barbs .

Don't think that is true:
Even u are not in active pk mode, every1 can still pk u when u are not in safe zone as long as u are not a blue name player.
u will only turn pink (not red) if u attack the npc, and u will only turn pink for a couple minutes if not less.
You turn pink/red for hours only when u kill white name players...

Oh, now that's really helpful. Thank you so much. I'm kind of afraid of going into pk mode as a veno cause I hear they fail. ^^;

Check the servers (OP and mine). We are all blue named people. Only if you play on a PvP server (i.e. Lost City/Harshlands) are you forced white named. Im lvl76 and still blue named.

You may be right on that, I don't know since I haven't done it. I usually just duel and (unarmed) punch up the veno's pet for chi.
But I have seen people turn red (not pink, red) attacking NPCs in FBs.
