is this a mistake or is it intended?

the minions of alucards have their elements labelled as "water" so i decided to wear robes all with increase water resistance, but then the magic attack hit me harder (450~600) than when i wore normal light (350~450) armorb:surrender
now i tried wearing robes all with increase metal resistance and they hit me way less (200~300).
so doesn't it mean the elements of the minion of alucard should be labelled as "metal" instead of "water" ?

    Water is the element their MDef is strongest against which is what is listed on the mobs info bar, not necessarily what type of spell damage they do.

    I think they do physical damage....you wearing robes would make them hit harder.

    Ranged mob, and it's magical attack is higher than it's physical attack.


    Something I noticed about casters:

    Wood: animates as green

    Metal: animates as white (damn those skeletons)

    Fire: Red

    So, Water would probably be blue, and IDK about earth.

    they cant be physical, or there'd be a chance to miss. i think the tower mobs at swamp are physical, and the death knights' fireballs (not the skulls that slowly float toward you) because those have missed me b4

    water is its def type, its attack type is lightning i reckon. i was expecting leech the first time i saw that animation tho. lol

    swamp mobs start to cast all sorts of nonsense. i swear those snake mobs cast both wood and water attacks

    No, they are not always the same. Most of the time, probably, but not always.

    the element you see is for you to hit its weakness. it has nothing to do with its attack. for instance, most higher magic mobs have also a low range melee attack.

    Earth spells (from what I noticed) are just kind of like rocks flying at you.
