Refining

Looking at refining some gear and was wondering how some of you that have done refining a bit go about doing it. I know how to refine i'm just wondering what mats you use at different +'s like what levels do you use tisha stones and when do you change to dragon orbs?

I tried going from 0 to 1 on a bow and failed 3 times so i got a dragon orb to make sure i succeeded.

Does anyone know the average success rates for 0-1, 1-2 etc without materials or even when using tisha stones?

    I don't have the exact figures handy but it's 25% for +1 and drops drastically after. Orbs are well worth the cost. Idk about the other stones, it's not 100% so I don't bother with them.
