Pandora critical'ed a gush on me which dealt more damage than Haiz's critical gush.
I believe a LA mage and a Robe mage deal about the same damage in terms of spiked hits.
A robe mage has awesome nuking power, But what good is a cannon if it's broken in 1 hit. I agree with LA mages; who have more critical %, more HP and slightly lower magical defense and massive physical defense, they stay alive to do more damage than your "Robe mages".
I would gladly sacrifice that extra damage (tbh honest its 200 ~ 300 more) for survival points.

If you don't agree that LA mages > Robe mages, then you don't know mages very well. It's even more funny when an actual high level mage claims robies are better. Shows how well you know your class...
You don't sacrifice much damage switching to LA, but you gain about ~5% more crit [which btw, is a very noticeable change]. Not to mention the increased survivability...
EDIT: unless you're in CQ, pure int > LA, when you pick flowers and HH all day XDMOAR PLANS b:angry

If you're saying that to prove robes > LA, then it doesn't apply. You win TW's because you have higher levels and greater numbers. Except when you fight BLT, they are better geared and evenly numbered and still lose b:chuckle. I'm not saying robe users are bad, I personally think it's a different play style. And don't try to argue that point, I'll ask you to prove it otherwise. You've left CQ for a long period, guild hopping and grinding away in peace avoiding kos etc. yet, you are not 100. STFU okay?
Its easy to level up when you only play 1 character, of course i'll fall behind levels in early game when i train my own farming party. I play endgame, not "level to 90 +9 the 90 weapon and level off daily ****".
Who has +7 gears? Who can farm a cv weapon? who has +9 soon +10 cv bow? without paying single cent of real money.
2m worth of salary a week is insignificant to me consider how much coins i earn to achive such high refines on my equips, and the daily cost of my many chars.
