Uhm, why is this event (which we dont even know would be any good) conflict in time with Dragon Temple, March 31st Tuesday 8pm server time? Typo...hopefully?

    its goign to be a lagfest. can u imagine all those catshop in west arch+4x normal players+horde of mobs? XD

    I doubt it'll be inside arch. It will most likely be like a legion attack and be right outside the gates. Lets see how many dead bodies will litter the ground b:chuckle

    lmao do the GMs really plan these events? lets take a lag ridden town and throw an wraith attack at it, from all corners of the town, and see how much ppl cry LMAO what about catshops? LMAO what about auctioning ppl.. LMAO

    I am gonna enjoy laughing at all the crying people on tuesday ^.^

    Event's at 5 PM server time, 8PM EST. Dragon Temple is three hours later. Love how Devs schedule events for mid-afternoon/evening when those of us with jobs aren't available.

    We realize the concern about lag, and will do the best we can to minimize the "lagfest".

    they do it to try and cut down on the lag.. but.. if you take into account that most people work like 8-5.. then starting it at 5 isn't so bad.. (at least, it's not bad if you live 2 or 3 mins from work :P )

    true that, but just the amount of people running around arch going out the gate/rebuff inside will make it even more laggy. would be nice if they drop a few boss in the middle of town, imagine if any of the TT aoe boss gets dropped into the middile of town b:laugh city of the dead then

    drop 1 20% hp soulbanisher into west arch at the start of the event, it will clear out 50% of the lag clearing all the catshops XD

    Just for everyone to know, we won't be spawning monsters within the walls of Archosaur. As funny as it would be to see cat shop after cat shop get destroyed, we're pretty sure the player base wouldn't be too happy about the lag.

    If you want to participate in this event, great. If not, then the normal foot traffic in Archosaur shouldn't be directly affected.

    i do have a question regarding the event though, approximately what lvl mobs will be spawned? will lower lvl be able to participate or they just going to keep getting 1shotted by mobs XD
    or will there be designated area for each range of lvl
    example outside west gate vll 70-90 mob, outside north gate lvl 50-70 mobs etc

    The event will be structured so that players of all levels can participate. Additionally if you're playing on one of the newer servers, the monsters levels will be adjusted accordingly.

    Finally as players show up for the event and as it progresses, we'll be measuring participation and player levels and adjusting the difficulty.

    It won't be a cakewalk, but it also won't be impossible.

    Well GMs, if you manage to minimize the lag, Hats off to you on an awesome event idea... however I hate to be those lwr lvl players questing there (oh well for them).

    Kinda Curious, how will you balance the level range of things so all may participate?

    there would probably be less lag in arch if the monsters were spawned there and all the shops were dead :P

    Can we use Duke Blacke as a human shield or as a weapon or something? I'm sure many of us players would love to throw Duke over the walls into the horde of wraiths as a decoy. b:sin

    No offense, but I agree... I work second shift and dont get home till these types of events are over..........I wouldnt care if half of them were at night, but something should be done to accomodate adults and those with children and jobs and a real life.
