Just a survey. What do YOU consider to be high level. This is purely based on each person since some players may say high level is 50 while others may say 100. It all depends on your point of view.

I just go with the range of the avatars we have on these forums. Level 1-39 is low level. 40-79 is mid level. 80+ is high level. Even though things get more interesting once you hit 89.

I guess it is all relative to your server, on HS 70 would be a high level, on PW-MY 70 would still be pretty newb

Personally I voted for 60+. That is the point when you can get your first TT gear, and thats when the rules change completely. The diff between 59 and 60 is just insane. In a good way lol
If you want something great, you've gotta be willing to bet it all. If you bet it all, you had better be prepared to lose.

58 to 59 is a bigger change actually.. due to the fact that your ultimate skills and second spark get unlocked at that point .. level 60 brings about 1 TT possibility.. a pretty good weapon.. which doesn't make that huge a difference..

the real time where TT kicks in is at 80 where TT gold is way better than most stuff

even getting to 70 you see the addition of TT armor .. which is pretty good

Between 70-75 the gae changes really .. more grinding.. more time to level .. and thats the level where you can begin to have a "finished" template

BM starts to really zhen by himself, for exemple ;)
Clerics are both offensives and protectives.
    ...
I look at all the trollers, and Pvpers.. and know they wouldnt have lasted 30sec on Camelot.

Rules= Know your enemy (players and NPCs) gives you more chances to survive.

Yeah this is what I mean. Got a few different views on the subject and a wide range of poll choices. So far this early in it seems to be mostly at 80 but we'll see what happens.

I voted 60+ becuase that's when you get off the basic kind of quests and you can actually go solo things to help people.
TT is a big difference and basically is the whole point of my being since 60. I really enjoy the game now as opposed to just enjoying it before now.

    I went with 9x.

I think anyone can get to 70, that's not that hard.

Getting to 80 takes some work grinding and patience, but its doable too.

When you get to the upper 80s and it takes a week or two between levels for a casual player, that's when it gets really tough.

9x is an accomplishment. Get your 9x gear and you're pretty much set with endgame gear.

    100 is just....excessive.

In an article in PC Gamer, Richard Garriott said that the average MMORPG player burns out and goes off to play another game after about 6 months. I've been playing roughly that long, and am getting close to level 80, so I call 80+ high-level. In other words, I'd say you're high-level if you've reached a level higher than the average player achieves before he or she leaves the game.

I'd say getting to 60+ is an achievement for a lot of people as not all of us get on all day every day like some do. I know some people have got to 60 in a matter of weeks, but its taken me since October to get to this level. I play casually and to have fun, but damnit I'm going to reach 80 if it kills me. Those armors are sexy and I want a nine-tailed fox.

i voted for in the 80s range...but its really relative to what your own leve is presently. when i started, meeting someone who had a dharma was like meeting someone leveled to an impossibly out of reach level. now, here i am (but still no dharma!b:cry), and 80s and 90s seem like they are all powerful, able to go to places and catch pets i can only drool over now.

I went with 90+ ive been playing since december and I'm still having fun.TT 70 was a joke tt 80 was a joke, TT 80 gold was pricey but still not worth it to me, but TT 90 that looks nice.

I figure by lv 90 you actually have a chance to get some good gear that will last you a very long time. And hopefully have a nice competition as far as TW's go, or PK if you choose that route. Hell even the new addition of the Areana death match looks like fun yay gambling finally lol.

There's also the whole demon/sage aspect of the game which is intriguing me and pushing me forward. Not to mention instances I've never done Frost covered and Lunar Glade come to mind.

Yourmom from lost city says 100 is excessive, well not really most people like to play an mmo for several years even when theres no more lv cap. But what keeps players interested is new expansions, something I think this game is lacking, and will need in the future to keep its players interested.

Ok I'll shut up now, lol I dont talk much but when I do I get carried away, just a few of my thoughts.b:thanks

90 is somewhat high level but 100 is real endgame

90 isnt hard to get to, but it takes real dedication or money to reach 100.

Agreed, however personally I don't have the dedication to get to 100, and there isn't a whole lot of difference between 90-98 anyways. 90 will be when I + and bind all my gear so I can pvp for real.

The level cap divided by two marks the barrier, even if it takes centillions times longer to level the same number of levels in the higher half.

I voted for 100+ as high level, as it gives me an objective to aim for.

Getting to 90 was not too bad.

I wanted to vote for 30+, but I do not see the option.

I figure if I must share Oracle bosses with people of that level, then they HAVE to be high level.

80+. Of course 90+ is fairly doable and even better, but 80+ is when you can have an 8x person and a 9x person have have a (fairly) even duel. That is, if the 9x person doesn't use/have significant demon/sage skills.
