krimson, any ideas to take him down?

Hi. Like the tittle said i need some advice on how to take down Krimson without ending dead 3-5 times. i havnt tried on him yet , but have heard hes a nasty aoe magic boss with defuffs. I was wondering if some1 has a plan on how to take him down paineless? i know that we need a high lvl barb to tank him like 72+? and at least 2 clerics. so i was wondering the main cleric who heals the barb , if she /he uses purify on barb too?? and for the 2nd cleric does she/he heal the main healer if she get hit by krimson aoe magic? Does the 2nd cleric stay out of the aoe range by krimson? any ideas?

    i and a lot of my friend are in the same boat...we need help in getting that quest done, but though there are plenty of high level folk who will take on any FB, none will touch him, mantavipe or any of the other non FB bosses. so i have no idea how to get those doneb:sad

    Check out the server symposium and look at Sanctuary. The top stickied post and see what Beloved is doing on Sanctuary. Maybe other factions on other servers after reading will do the same.

    At the bare bones level, a barb (65+ to be safe, with true form level-ed up and hopefully bell buff beforehand) and 2 clerics. 1 cleric is 100% IH and another IH's and purifies.

    Most guilds should help guildies with their bosses. For example, I'm in Sagacious of Heaven's Tear. We get a list of bosses (FB or not) that guildies need and run them every weekend at the latest. Often times we run them sooner than that, like we did a 2.8 million hp wraith chief last Wednesday.

    Krimson actually isnt that hard of a boss, Tank and healer just need to learn to work together and good timing on purify and healing.

    Krimson runs from you from time to time.
    tank can not just run off and chase after him.
    especially if tank has the debuff on.
    go after Krimson after it runs away, everyone move up slowly (include the tank)
    of course as a healer you cant just move up. spam a heal and move little steps..
    long as your ironheart is max you wont get hit by its aoe.
    been a tank you dont just run after boss without watching you hp and debuff
    else no cleric can keep you alive.

    would suggest clericS have at least lvl 5-6 purify.
    all range and healer behind the tank, only the tank is on the ground.
    have at least 2 range dd/archer, melee in this fight beside tank is totally useless.

    Mantavip can be tank by any caster, cleric veno wiz,,even archer if have enough resist.
    suggest you use at least 2 mid 60's cleric.
    This boss is all arcane, tank just need to have proper gear.
    wearing bunch of 1 star with no refine or low lvl hp gears = waste of time.
    (has around 7800-8200 resist when i tank him *with cleirc buffs*)
    personally i have tank mantavip at 72 with 2 cleric and hp never drop to 70%.
    but also walk around with 3300+ hp

    thx for advice on krimson.

    as for manta i never had a problem with him. i did him like 2 times with a veno and 3 times with a wizz. u dont need 2 cleric, its enough with just one. but as long the tanker have enough water ress, u will be just fine b:victory it just take some time b:cry

    My advice is the same advice I use with every boss..

    Hit him til he stops moving.
