I've heard this is good armor. How much should I expect to pay for it?

    300k-500k, generally.

    Look for the mold in the AH, I see it there all the time. I'd wait until you see it for the ballpark of 300k, though. I bought a mold directly from a player for 300k... then around lv60 I sold it off again, in manufactured form, refined once (+1) with two average garnets for... 450k maybe? I forget.

    It's a bit of an overrated piece, because by the time you hit 50, statwise the standard armor will already be better (IIRC). But not by much... less than 20 points of difference or so. Basically you're paying for armor you can feasibly use until the late 50s or so, and it looks pretty nice too (think Glowing War Vest with the brown parts turned gold... you've probably seen it somewhere).
