Odd Downloading Problem...

Alright, I've gone through all of the tech guides and all, downloaded the 1-99 patch, still no go.

Here's the problem -
Everytime I try to patch on the launcher, it says the connection was interrupted, or the is a file error, or it'll hang on updating... Even if I try the 1-99 manual patch, it'll give me a connection interrupted message.

My system;
Vista Ultimate 64-bit
Phenom X4 II 940 - 3.8GHZ
9800GTX+ SSC
4Gigs of Dominator Corsair 1066MHZ.

so, I'm more then just past the reccomended comp, way past it.

try putting the patcher on only 1 or two of your affinities instead of all 4.

ctrl-alt-dlt

bring up the taskmanager

right click on the launcher.exe


set the affinity to 1 or 2 cpus



also, try editing your firewall settings, as it may be that your firewall isnt allowing it to have complete access.


also did you forget to verify the client. also might try


C:\Program Files\Perfect World Entertainment\Perfect World International\launcher

and opening the fixit file

tried all of that.
hm...
does perfect world even support vista 64-bit?
