Groups use voice software things?

I used to have a program called ventrilo installed but we had to remove it when we changed computers.

Should I re-install it or do people use other things or not all?

    Vent is one of the more common voIP programs. So I guess it wouldn't hurt to have it installed if you join a guild or small group for better communication. There's Xfire & Skype as well.

    Ventrillo, TeamSpeak, GSC, etc. There's a whole bunch of similar programs.

    If you're in a larger or more organised guild (or a guild which pretends to be organised but fails at it) they'll likely have a server of some description on of the them.
