Disconnected from server [conundrum]

So my nets been acting up and i disconnected in a 1 on 1 mob grind. I wasn't able to reconnect for 40 minutes and when I arrived, I was dead (which isnt uncommon in mmos i know, especially in a crash) but my charm was ticked for its remaining 155000 HP. That's kind of a long time for my char to last despite being completely disconnected from the web. One mob doing 300s? I lose money because not only is my connect tripping but PWI's method of handling idle and dropped connections is not continuous? Seems to me so far all mmorpgs have had those kind of things implemented BEFORE open beta and the ability to spend money. If I crash, I can expect to be dead when I get back, but my non internet presence is also dinged for 150 thousand hp??? cmon, thats some bull.

If you get disconnected, sometimes your character will seem to be in "limbo" and think it is logged in, when obviously you aren't. IM programs, apps and many other games can do this when different network disconnects occur. This can happen on console and computer games as well.

When you try to log back in, check the box next to Force Log to remove yourself from the game and relog, then log out.

Internet PC gaming isn't always fair when network anomalies occur. If your network connection isn't stable or solid enough to get the data packets through about a disconnect occurring (you're getting more dropped/lost packets then what is actually received by the game servers), then weird issues like that could occur.
