    I suppose that's true. I guess my feelings are that no matter how small the developers make the penalty, and no matter how many ways they add to avoid paying it, there will always be a group of people who will complain that the dying penalty is too steep and that it's too hard/expensive to avoid.

    I guess my feelings that the cost is so cheap is because I grew up in an era where all video games cost $0.25 for 3 lives, which represented about 8 minutes of play time. And when you died, you died. No save points, no continues, no "rezz please". Just start over from the beginning. b:victory
