Title says most of it.
With the understanding that tithes are meant to be used to support the player base or to raise funds for faction improvement or TW.
Think about 50k per person over lev 50 per week sounds good?

i think it heavily depends on the faction/situation
if you're a faction building for TW, you gotta put money up for towers, catys, bidding, some charms for barbs and zhenners ( in tw), then yah people should donate, in the long run itll pay off if you get land money which can then be used to supply the faction for wars0 -
I'm pro on this idea too. Though many of the lower lev players are upset because they could be using coin on something else. Higher lev players upset because they are usually the ones helping the lower levs and have no coin left over. Its a bit of a mess really.0

You're going to need an extremely dedicated guild to be able to pull that off. Most people don't want to pay, so charging a tithe will scare a lot of people off.
It's a good idea, but only if you can actually pull it off so that people get more than their money's worth out of the guild.0 -
If you're the leader and want to make it a requirement for membership, then more power to you, a guild fund is something great to have.
But you can't make people tithe; all you can do is kick them if you don't. Options are slim unfortunately.0 -
b:cry bitter barbs and clerics
maybe, x mid mats a week instead.0 -
charging coin for guild membership = bad
guild banks = good
how do you fill a guild bank? you make ppl team up and run TT bikiini etc.
this lets your army learn to work together. you have mats to make good wepons. and you can sell extra for coin for tw. personally good old fashion team work is better than any thing else. run fb's take the best useable molds and equipt use them sell the rest put in bank. leaders of a serious guild should be able to buy gold to sell other wise your guild is not gonna make tw power status period.
again though you should not get any money from land unless you chiped in for the battle and i mean more than just a few charms for you.one day the world will shout to me save us....
and i will whisper no.0 -
personally i donate my crafting skills, time, and a few mats for ppl before a tw. if the whole guild got together and farmed herbs for apo mats for weps and armor shared mold drops 90% of the tw supply issues would be taken care of. for most ppl in tw a good supply of apo pots would be better than a charm at least it would cut the charm tickage down to half thus you have twice the charm.
btw i was in a guild with a mat bank it worked well every one had a nice shinny TT wepon for tw. and higher 70+ players had almost all leg or TT armor so yeah it works if the guild is commited to it. aprentice programs with eq hand me downs works to.one day the world will shout to me save us....
