mdef vs hp shards

One of bm's main weaknesses is lack of mdef. But more HP is also good. Which 1 should i use for vit build and which should I use for dex build?

    I would use m-def gems for both builds, your hp is already high enough anyways.

    HP.
    I had to decide cus of the event to go either Mdef or HP shards.

    Every BM I saw with Mdef shards said its not worth it (ranging from full 12 avg to 8+ flawless shards embedded)

    so yeah. HP.

    Wait, what? Mdef shards for a DEX Blademaster? most DEX Blademaster's on Sanctuary barely have 5k HP, alot having 4.4-ish, at lv80, how is that high HP? Mdef shards are like asking to be ****. b:shocked

    HP Shards are the best always, until you're level 9x with very good refined equipment, then you can start using mdef shards. Before that it is just a waste.

    Well im only level 75 right now and I have like 4.15k HP and none of my equipment has shards or is plussed. But I think maybe I should go with HP. But magic hurts so much though

    I prefer to hit harder and more consistance than using more vit or more mag defence. If that is still a problem, I can run a hp pot right when i start the fight to assure I can use it twice during the fight.

    That's just me I guess. My opinion is since I cannot get STR or DEX pots.

    Buffed or unbuffed? I am vit WR (only like 65 dex) and got 8.3k buffed... If you have that unbuffed then wow (but even if buffed really nice)

    Well I just hit 76 and I've had over 4k HP for a while. Im dex build, but I have a lot of HP, and I didnt even refine/add HP shards yet.
