say lvl 90 barb vs lvl 90 blademaster who would win more in pvp against each other?? im trying to decide which one o want to be

    BM if they have all their stun x 3 leveled.

    bm because they have dimond sutra, they can keep u in stunlock for a pretty long time, they do more dmg than a properly biult bm,
    if its a LA biuld the barb might win but if the bm is heavy its almost definately going to go to the bm

    pk wise... mostlikey a tie because of the charms but the bm is at a disadvantage here because bms in general cant kill a proper pk barb because that would mean they have to take down (at lv 90) more than 30k hp in under 12 seconds

    barbs in the beginning but at higher lvls its the bm because they can stun the hell out of the barbs and do massive damage when the barbs can't move
    probably one of the smartest in perfect world
    yet the lowest of level

    None of them will win really. Barb has too much hp and def for bm to kill they'll just tick each other's charm -__-

    Yep, Barb v/s Bm = charm wastage. Both cant kill each other easily. And I don't even wanna think about repair costs b:chuckle

    Barb and BM = Same heavy armour

    BM does more damage so the Barbs gear would break first.

    so after a looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong fight

    yeah it would be like a 4 hour fight...the players would just get bored and like go out to eat while the fight is going on lol

    Repair Bills depend on how many hit you receive not dmg.

    You will have same repair Bills being hit by a level 1 mobs 5 time than a level 90mobs 5time.

    Now that I did not know. So a lvl1 mob does as much damage to my armor as a lvl90 mob?? That makes absolutely no sense.....so mob level is filtered into %DR but not into repairs?....I swear sometimes I wonder what the devs were smoking when they wrote this game. b:chuckle

    barbs only have 2 ways to win in pvp period.

    sunder and armeggeddon

    if a barb can manage to get a bm close to charm tickage and land either of those 2 then win

    but then if i could some one to give me a million buck i would be rich. same odds

    if a bm can stun a barb in non tiger form and keep him locked down and use a charm breaking skill he could win but again

    lol sunder is not a pvp skill.. it regens your health to keep you alive longer.. but the damage is negligible in comparison to perdition.. sunders main damage is in the bleed.. which lasts 15 seconds.. charm ticks every 10..

    Thats not quite true I think. Yes perdition does do more damage, but dont count out sunder either.

    Atm I have around 8k buffed HP in humanoid. My avg weapon dmg is about 3K.

    Lvl 6 perdition = 3200 + (4000*3.2) = 16000 dmg
    Lvl 6 sunder = [3000 + (1.6*3000)] + 6954 = 14,754 total dmg (about 1/2 is a dps rest is dot).

    So sunder does almost the same damage though its over 30sec. Yes the dot aspect is what severely reduces its effectiveness in PvP, particularly against a melee opponent, but it too can wipe out magicals.
    I remember using sunder as a finishing move against a veno. Was ignoring her pet and kept attacking her. Then she just kept running away. I got bored, so switched to her pet and sunder = 1 dead surprised veno...lol

    on someone that is charmed sunder will almost never KO them .. because of the charm cooldown .. if you are in pvp and wanna use your 2 sparks.. perdition is the way to go for a killing blow

    for a bm, trying to pk a barb with a charm is a complete waste of time, and would only have a very slight chance of happening with weapons with beserk

    This is random, but i remember pking a veno that ran into safe zone with my poor BM bleed skill Draw blood. it killed her in safe zone. I couldnt stop laughing!

    yeah sunder is more of a pve skill however don't forget or rule out the bleed as mentioned earlier. the damage isn't any thing to sneer at either. the main reason i mentioned it is the hp regen sounds stupid i know but it still nulifies alot of incomeing damage good for streching out the charm ticks , scaring the enemy, and generally a good thing. "in duels which is off topic but it is a sweet skill as you can recover 4k hp :)"

    not to mention the bleed is a killer to robes and good for la.

    it is also guarenteed damage vs. armeggeddon which is extreem hit or miss.

    are you guys aware of a barb skill called "violent triumph?" it makes you immune to stun and status, but that 10 seconds could be enough for you to break free from their stun-prison and get the upper hand. i dunno, with some stuns like "mighty swing(50% chance stun)" or "ancestral rage(100% freeze)," or "PERDITION(barb's super)." not only that, barbs have axe/hammer mastery and str of the titans to almost double their total damage. It may not come close to the bm's damage but the damn barb's rather THICK health meter will keep them alive long anough to kill the bm. I'm not saying the barb would win for sure because im not that high lvl, but....

    i'm just saying... =D

    i dueled my friend who is a lvl 64 BM took him 34 minutes to get me to half
    i'm a pure tank build, i push 10k physical def, maxed out my sunder, he has his stuns maxed for his lvl and his heals maxed, he eventually won, but it took forever, the only downside to a barb dueling, is that i need 2 sparks to use my heal vs his 1 spark, but i used beastial rage alot so was fun, repair bill was a pain lol
    and we both hit around the same, had trouble hitting him at time.dam his dex, but yea it all depends on the build tank barb vs blade bm very close, i normally can win vs axe bms cause i can hit them, never tried a pole or fist bm though shall have to try dueling them

    any BM who loses a duel to a barb using tiger form(when they are using health regen) kinda fails.. diamond sutra can keep your health pretty much topped out and the tiger form has weak damage comparatively...

    to beat a BM you have to spark resist the stun.. and hope for some nice crits with bestial onslaught and not missing with perdition

    but fighting a bm 1 on 1 is so pointless.. it'll go on forever.. even in duel.. in PK forget about it if you are both charmed.. (who doesn't pk with a charm .. atleast in sanctuary where pk is a choice)
