    last question, how much pdef does your herc have w/o its buffs at 70?

    errmmm my herc is now 72 can't remember what his unbuffed Pdef was. but at 71 when he unbuffed, he got stomped flat fast. between one pet heal and the next and I was chain healing.

    It has more than the mighty golem, along with hp and everything else. It just doesn't hit quite as hard.

    The main thing you are paying for when you buy a herc is not the pet, its the skills it comes with.

    thats not why i needed it i was looking for a rough number to calculate what it would be buffed when i got it, because i dont like making others do math

    IE, say he had 6k def unbuffed, i can x it by 1.5 and get my info >>

    Thats why I supped my Herc up with the claw skill.. mmmm 30% more damage for 1 hour b:victory

    Before anyone asks you get the pet skill from Dragon Palace. There are 5 chests in there that can drop it and it has a drop rate of around 1%.

    We could all learn a lot from crayons, some are sharp, some are pretty, some are dull, some have weird names (like chartreuse), and all are different colors....BUT they ALL exist very nicely in the same box!

    I think most Herc users replaced Pounce with Bash already. Unless he got rid of Bash and replaced it with that increased attack power buff. If he did that then how does the Herc hold aggro?

    That's a common misconception, due to people's assumptions and the wording of the skill descriptions. The correct multiplier is 2.5. The buffs add 150% more to the unbuffed defense, for a total of 250%. For extensive discussion of this topic, see this thread:

    I am curious you spent 2 weeks grinding for cash. Now did you convert your coin to gold or just buy feathers from other players? I got my herc but want the phoenix.

    not sure about her, but originally I converted to cash and bought packs (when gold was 110-120k/G).. because at an average of 23/pack, it was running me about 2200-2300 per force that way.. then when gold sky rocketed, I started buying them in game for 2400-2500 per because buying the packs now ended up costing me like 2850 per..

    Never really had a problem with my herc holding aggro and never put bash on him. Play smart if your herc is tanking dont go all balls to the wall trying to damage the mob, let herc do his job. Same thing if your in a party.

    When i did play I seldom used my herc for anything besides solo TT runs and I didnt need to worry about aggro in there.

    You should always stat your pets for your playstyle not for what others tell you they should have.

    I been working on my pheonix too. I only use him for TWs, i got tired of barbs thinking they were being cute and trying to kill my nix, so I got a reflect scroll from DP too and added that to my pheonix and took away his pounce..

    Now the barbs hit him and get 70% of the damage reflected back to them on top of the pheonixs normal attack power..muwhahaha some things can be soo fun lol.

    Now Im looking for a Bloodthirst Scroll from dragon palace for my nix. I think im going to drop his hp spell and add that.

    Bloodthirst spell: Steal enemy's HP.
    "Absorb the enemy's HP upper limit value and convert it into life force for oneself."

    I think having that on the nix, with its 30% damage buff, flesh ream, and reflect would make one very deadly nix, that could heal itself by stealing your hp!

    Still debating on but I think this is going to be my next step lol.

    My chars: 97 barb, 87 cleric, 91 veno, 80 archer, 74 Blademaster, 34 Psychic, 30 Assasin, 20 Wizard, 44 Seeker, 20 Mistyc.

    ^ I have SO many personalities to play them all! b:cute

    And YAY for my Phoenix!(on THIS veno ^^) b:victory
