Server?

Whats the best server to start off in, when your on your first character, and well, still a noob.. :P

Im looking for the server, with the nicest community on it where i could ask for help IG, if i needed it.

    PvE - Dreamweaver
    PvP - Harshlands

    These servers are only about 2 weeks old, so the average level isn't too high.

    I agree Saitada(how the f'ck do you pronounce that anyway?). We are really nice people here on Sanctuary. I'm always willing to help out newer players. Just don't expect me to hold your hand the whole way because no one did for me. If you choose Sanctuary just pm me. ;)

    I'd say your first thing to look at should be your timezone, there are gmt+5 and gmt+7 servers (east and west coast).

    Then once you know where you'll find the most ppl, I'd say go got a PVE server if you just play casually and wana hang out with ppl.

    what part of the world are you in?

    if your in
    east untied states/europe it'd be better to start in harshlands or dreamweaver
    because they're located on the east coast
    if you live on the west coast then any of ther other servers will do
    i also suggest that you start in a pve server too

    It depends on how you want to play the game. There are two choices you have to make:

    1: PvP or PvE
    PvP means you can attack and be attacked by other players at any time. The game is more competitive, and if someone's causing you problems you have the option to attack them. PvE means "Player vs. Environment". The only difference is that for the most part you can't attack other players
    Lost City and Harshlands are PvP; Heaven's Tear, Sanctuary, and Dreamweaver are PvE.

    1. New or Old Servers
    The new servers came out only two weeks ago. The old ones came out seven or so months ago. The high levels on the old servers may be more helpful, but there will probably be a lack of new low levels, and you have very little chance to end up in a territory war or major guild.
    Harshlands and Dreamweaver are new; Lost City, Heaven's Tear, and Sanctuary are old.
    (Also note: new servers are east coast USA, old servers are west coast. This affects event times and slightly affects lag, although I rarely find that to be a problem.)

    If you think you want to be in a more competitive environment I'd recommend one of the new servers. I switched to Harshlands because I enjoy others being able to attack me or I attack them if one of use chooses to, and although I can't play all the time, I like the chance of being in a "factor" guild.

    But where you pick is entirely up to you.

    Since PWI's overall community is generally nicer than many other MMOs, I'd recommend one of the new servers: Dreamweaver or Harshlands. Less lag, more people around your level to play with, and more opportunities.

    scantuary becuz stuff is cheaper and theres more ppl to help

    Sanctuary is more expensive then the other servers and ht has even more people to help...

    Even though, I'd recommend you to choose Sanctuary, if you decide to go to an old PvE server, since HT ist just too crowded.
