You can say that I can take them down, with a group, if I want. Think that through. Four of us to take down one level 6x? I'd be able to do it with two easy, but the point is they can come back and kill us. Oh, and on the new servers there are line ups to kill the boss in the first place. Even if I haul 10-15 people out there we'd still get routed. Not to mention the amount of heiro it'd waste, which defeats the purpose of the whole thing. Then we'd all be low levels with no money while they continue to level off this broken **** event.

If you're are going to try and shoot down what I'm saying at least use some logic.
it goes both ways. you can still kill them, you just won't. I did use logic. exemplary logic, but you'd just rather whine about the situation than do anything about it yourself.

If you had enough mules, you could technically buy enough guardian angels to get to 90 within a week (I thought it was something like $200 per day limit). If you stockpile enough of those (and we are talking 100 of those for about 1.5m, so you would need close to 10k oracles). Within like 2 weeks, you can finish all those and be 90. If I was a super rich ****, I would do that, since it would save you months of grinding. Doing that alone is pointless however, as you will have the gears of the highest lvl group in the server, unless you are a veno with a herc and solo HH squad mode for the next couple weeks to get gears. It's actually worth doing if you were someone that spends money to buy heiros. Since you would go through a lot of heiros grinding to 90.

You CAN do something, yes, but the effect that you'll have will be so small that it'll be pointless. We were actually going to go camp one of these mobs tonight, but after seeing the huge mob of high 5x and 6x standing there, we just said '**** it' and did FB's. Like Wreck said: even if you charge in there with 10 people and just kill the mob when it respawns, you're going to have twice that many people very unhappy about what you just did. The mobs respawn within a minute or so, so you're not even going to slow them down that much. As for trying to attack the players killing it, you have the same problem with everyone there trying to kill you within seconds. It would hurt us far more than it would hurt them, and we'd fall even further behind in levels because we wouldn't even be questing/grinding while they were farming ridiculous amounts of EXP.

@Torin: There are groups of people doing this. They're all leveling together, meaning forming HH squads is not going to be a problem. I doubt anyone except Deity will get 90 off this, but 7x when the vast majority of the server should be around 5x at this stage is quite bad enough.

:O someone already bought 7x in 2 days of event, wonder how far they'll go in a week.
    Pendulum's definition of fair fight:

"That was a pretty fair fight and liek OMG they got ****ed up." - Wreck talking about the fight in the screenshot.
"You're the worst mage ever" - Iffy 5 mins before I roll her 1 on 1

We should keep that in mind next time you're crying in sz.

My personal opinion is, if someone wants to waste hundreds and thousands of dollars on a single game for some sort of personal reasons (self-esteem, depression, no life, etc.).

Why complain? It is their life, let them fall on their own.

If you see someone that paid a ton of money for a high level character, or payed tons for super duper gears, you should be laughing, not showing envy. (this includes complaining for hours)

Just continue enjoying the game on your leisure time, or whatever time you play. You are not wasting the money/time, but complaining for hours and hours and days, in itself is a waste of time.

As long as this does not effect your "in real life", there is nothing to be worried about, since it is a game. (ex: no one is pointing a gun to your head or burning down your house, etc.)

    so 60 - 90 is 90mil exp?

scrolls are roughly 1 coin for 1 exp, so 90mil coins.

10 gold for 1.2mil or so right?

    750 gold for 90mil.

usd $750 for lvl 90. its possible, and a pretty good deal.

A pretty good deal you say?

More than enough money for a plane ticket to visit family/friends, buy food for a long time, or even pay for plenty of gas etc.

If people start paying that much on one single game, I would suggest buying a non mmorpg game, or a playstation game etc. Because you are digging a hole to bury your money in.

People in this thread talk as though $1000 dollars is pocket change.

Since when do games start to cost nearly $1000 or half of your life's spent time?

I feel sorry for the next generation of kin in this world.

More like 2x $750 if you buying from players, but at the end you would get $750 worth of coins from the oracle rewards.

been buying them myself. buying oracle III's including the returned coin for completion, its always been 1 coin for 1 exp or cheaper.

To be honest buying a PS3 and enough games to keep me entertained for 6 months would cost about the same as spending $1000 here. I sold well over usd$1000 in items in the previous MMORPG i quit, and wouldnt mind spending that money here.

Pixels might seem useless but they do provide entertainment. People spend $10 or so on a movie that lasts 90 minutes. Whats wrong with spending $1000 on a game that lasts up to a year?

If you want to spend $1000 dollars on a free game, be my guest. I have no complaints, nor do i care.

    Cheers to you~

Look at it this way. Its people spending that kind of money that keeps this game running and free... why complain if they make it so you can still play?

personally i got nothing against people spending $1000 on this game, but i feel its slightly unfair that there is an event that allows u to gain easy and fast exp as a result of spending that amount of money. i feel it takes the fun out of the game making the game something along the line of, if u pay money u get free lvls.
If there was never this event where u can get scarlet orbs and massive amount of oracles then i would be perfectly fine with people spending $1000 or more on anything they feel like.
My body is made of swords.
Iron is my blood, and glass is my heart.
I have overcome countless battlefields undefeated,
    Without once retreating,
    Nor once being understood.
Always alone, intoxicated with victory on the hill of swords.
Therefore, there is no meaning to that life.
Perhaps this body is nothing but a sword itself.
