That's cuz we were expecting them to be permanent like it was said (long ago), but they are only going to be there for 2 weeks. Gold trade is going to suck, but at least we get cheaper charms for a while.

I have faith in xarfox. One day he will single handedly make charm packs permanent while at the same time fixing flesh ream and keeping it unnoticed for 5 years, and no one will be able to fix that block of code back since apparently no one found it in 5 years. After he does all that, he will spawn servers in every country, save babies from being eaten and generally try being a hero irl and in his fantasy world. The previous person that achieved hero status in both worlds has informed me that he has upgraded to being a legend, and that the position is free for the taking.

xarfox should demand updates that aren't bugged, because I am pretty sure anything other than translations isn't even their fault.

Why? Do you do quality control on Chinese exports? Recognizing a poor track record is the first step to improvement and should not really require any offense. Nevertheless, it was a broadly sweeping statement that I will retract.

Specifically, unfortunately, PWI has not shown much willingness to learn. It is almost like they still have no test servers at all (anywhere) despite the vague promises made after last month's disaster.

I've already retracted the remark, but I would ask you to consider whether you would be equally upset if I had noted that a particular corporation had a poor track record for quality (say, GM or Ford). In the case of a still quasi-state economy like China, the difference between those observations is very hard to find.

If you really want to probe the problem of racism, ask yourself this: Did you, perhaps, insert racism by inferring that it was the basis for my comment? Do you actually have any basis to assert that I am racist other than that I have, admittedly, been a bit to ready to impute the same reputation to all divisions of an economic actor without, perhaps, enough evidence that the same incentive structure and choices of how to maximize profits obtain throughout the oganization?

People do generally get pissed when Webster (read: PWE) decides to change the meaning of permanent, and then go about saying it was a technical error and they will be brought back at a later date (for only a limited time).
