PWi freezes(the problem wasnt solved why did U closed the other topic?)

well...i cant play pw at all lately cause my pc freezes and i even saw weird error once and after that the whole system restarted!
my experiences are like game freezes,winamp,mouse stops moving and everything stops!! and pc makes terrible sound XD sometimes it lasts only like fiew secs, sometimes more and usually causing system lockup and restart.
but when things go "well" game window only flicks,go purple then back and i can continue playing!for some mins and again:D

these problems started after game update 81 and 86 things went really bad like they are now.
i started looking help and searched the whole web and seriously checked my pc from inside out!

pls dont start talking about my drivers are old or pc doesnt meet req's!! yes it meets and drivers are updated with latest ones!!

i have problem only playing pw.. other games runs great!(windows games example: need for speed series MW, carbon and undercover, call of duty and hellgate london,crysis,etc

so i started to clear things up based information from internet: BIOS update,Nvida driver update(n4_disp.dll and finded best suitable forcware)whole day virus checks with 3 different types progs...still nothing! no viruses what could eat important files and send wrong values!

i even downclocked my graphic card and cpu....still no, turned off agp force from BIOS...still same!
reinstalled pwi....result: nothing!!
sorry but WHATTA "F" i gotta do?? i am out of ideas what could solve the problem?b:surrender

I have a similar problem. PW freezes all the time for me, roughly once every hour or two. The problem proved to be unsolvable as to now. My drivers are brand new I meet all requirements, but it still freezes. And, PW is the only game that freezes on my PC. Everything else runs smoothly. This is such a pity, because I love PW but the constant freezing spoils the fun.

Just wanted to add this to say, "You're not the only one with such a problem." I sort of got used to the unsolvable freezing.

If you are encountering a freezing issue, it could be your hardware malfunctioning or overheating, if it isn't a underpowered video card/chipset, if it isn't spyware/malware/viruses running, or driver issue, as some examples.

okei here is what i have tried and finded out! These solutions may work for someone here:

the simple ways what may fix problem:
-Turn on Ur windows update and update(yeah i know some microsoft updates turn ur PC upside-down and bla bla, i dont trust auto update either) cause PW game engine and updates may not work harmony with Ur windows drivers what may old a bit!

-Some Graphic cards(in future G-card) manufactures example Nvidia and ATI's latest updates are not so good Ur "older" G-card: it seriously push Ur G-card to the edge and usually are not ment such extreme gaming: i suggest find driver from http://omegadrivers.net they have improved cards drivers for gaming hand to hand with Nvidia and ATI!
and installing should like this: download the driver what is suitable and fits Ur OS(operation system) DONT install the new one!!!
download prog named "driver cleaner pro"(google and dwnl/install U get free ver.). uninstall the old driver.restart-go to safe mode- run "driver cleaner pro" and uninstall all video drivers! if prog. nothing founded its OKEY!
restart again go windows run "omega driver" install and it ask U to restart!

-Turn High Detail Shaders off from Ur G-card settings!

well and now my solution:if those still didnt help and U still get blue screen errors,restarts,system freezes while gaming,beeps from speakers, N4_disp.dll errors,and screen resolution turns strange to U like seen first time 4-bit screen XD
U have spended money to voltage adapters, U have crossed fingers,installed new windows,U have cursed and talked dirty and still nothing seems to fix the problem then trust me Ur G-card is gotta go!
example i overclocked my G-card half year agoo i even didnt remember it but it suffered under it and for today it died! so i am waiting new card shipping to play pw again:DXD Good luck U ppl!b:victoryb:victory
