okay i found an easy way to gain chi and increase axe attack speed i noticed this when i was using fists for the heck of it:
i was attacking devil root dryad but after killing about 40 of them i started to get bored so i thought hey why not have some fun. i went to the hidden orchid town and bought me a set of fists (i know barbs and fists don't go together but i was bored...) when i came back i attacked a mob doing 164 damage every hit with lvl 2 fists. but i noticed my chi going up quicker. after a while of doing this i switched weapons and went to my axes but my axes were still going the same speed as the fist attacks but doing more damage. when i hit my spark eruption with my fists i was doing like 300 damage a hit but then i swithced to my axes causing me to do 700 damage each hit but i hit the target like 3 times in 1 second. so i think i found a bug and...a easy way to build up chi while still doing decent damage.
probably one of the smartest in perfect world
yet the lowest of level

    Nice tip! Instead of bug, I would prefer to call it hidden feature b:laugh

    yeah but it only works for like 3 hits after switching and you have to let your fists hit more then 3 times before doing it
    probably one of the smartest in perfect world
    yet the lowest of level

    If we only we could use our skills with a fist.... that would make barbs the ultimate tanker lol

    Nice one Gan,, ya that wuld be kool if we culd use fist like that.. but i sill lub meh axes.

    This sounds like the inventory problem. If you don't know what that is it is when you close the inventory but you can still unequip items for a couple of seconds. This is another side effect caused be a lag between the change and the full effect of said change. Don't think it is really a bug

    okay..now you are making it sound like i am complaining about it...obviously i am not....you may have to read things a little better

    I never said it is bad or that you are complaining. I was simply stating that it is probably not a bug as you stated in your first post

    i have an interesting tip, barbs can use any weps, and still use skills, wanna know how??

    i've fought with pole blades, and even bare fisted, and been able to use my tiger skills :D

    @ ganiju: He might be right on the few seconds before changing. You'll directly see the axe/hammer appear, but you actually still do some attacks based on the fists. This happens often to me to. I have a bow I use to lure sometimes. I do one attack and then change back to my polehammer. I instantly see the polehammer appear, but still shoot 1 to 3 arrows b:chuckle

    Now this sounds more like a "hidden feature" b:shocked I can only go tiger with hammer/axe or barehanded. And while in tiger, my equipment is blocked. I'm 100% of it. Like I said, I use a bow to lure, but can't shapeshift untill my hammer is equiped again.

    Barb can transform in tiger witouth Weapon equiped.

    you can use skill witouth any weapon as it said in the skill description
    not a hidden feature.

    thats weird because right when i switched the weapons it went: 162 163 162 *switch* 278 453 362 and at the speed of the fist weps...
