Can't connect to server

Hey, I'm having trouble connecting to the game. As soon as i open the client it says "Update Connection Server Fails Please Try Other Update Server" and on the right hand side I don't see the usual stuff such as latest news or whatever I only see "Navagation To The Webpage Was Cancelled". I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game about 3 times now and still no luck and I've alse tried manually patching from 1-86 about 3 times and still nothing. Also I've tried to varify and it says it's okay but if I try now it doesn't even start. Not sure what's left to try so I'd appreciate any help. Thanks.

Have you had any updates to your Firewall, Antivirus, Peerguardian etc? Also do you have the newest flashplayer?

I havn't had any updates other than firefox. And I have the newest flashplayer. I've tried turning my firewall off as well and setting the game as an exception but it still can't connect.

__Longshot__ - Sanctuary

Do you have windows set to automatically get updates? Maybe it got a new internet explorer? Try opening Internet explorer to see if it has a new splash screen then close it. Even though you may have firefox set as your browser, PW will still use IE to open the first page.

Nope IE has no new splash screen and my windows does not update until it asks for permission.

Ok this is kind of wierd but when I open up Element Client and it says unable to connect to update server I pressed start anyway and the game does work. I've tried this before but it didn't work then but it does now. I guess I'll have to patch manually though from now on.
