I just rolled a mage and i need to know which mage weapon should I be using
wand,mage sword and etc

NOTE: i'm level 11 and using the light aromr build

    Use whichever you get. The only difference is the size of the range. Some have large ranges, some have small, but they all have average damages that scale roughly to their level. You may well have a preference for a specific type, if so get that type, but generally you can use any type equally well.

    It doesnt really matter in lvl 40. Just use the newest weapon.
    Then around lvl 46 (?) you need to kill viridis, and you get a really nice Glaive. Use that until lvl 60 where you can get the Ancient Arbor, your TT60 sword.
