40+ Grinding Mobs

Looking for suggestions on mobs to grind at 40+.
I know, I know, your gonna say "you have quests at that level, do em!". Well long story short I'm not doing any quests for the next 4 nights, afterwich I'll be doing them again.
So for in the meantime, I need some good mobs to grind on for lvls 40-44ish. I did 37-39 on the Pterosaurs under Heavens Tear, and 39-40 (ya, im still 39, but like 4% away from level) on the Vipions outside of Etherblade. If it wasn't for the fact that they have that stupid mana drain, they would be really nice grinding material.
Any suggestions?

Kill some lofty pterosaurs southwest of anglers village. There's a bunch of them and you'll kill them pretty fast.b:laughb:chuckleb:pleasedb:thanksb:cuteb:victory0

I'm also at a similar position as u. i'm currently lvl 43 and training on Overclocked Mehcrab (not sure on the spelling). They are located to the north of Anglers Village kinda of near Etherblade. I personally do not like flying monsters due to slower movement in the air. The Overclocked Mehcrab are lvl 40 and r fire based. They do not have a ranged atk, only a physical one. At lvl 43, i gain ~0.1245% for each one i kill. (based on normal monsters, [excluding ones with +atk/def/life/etc]) I'm wearing light armor and have ~42% damage reduced to fire. They do ~180 damage to me. The only thing they drop that is actually worth something is element stones ($1,700 npc [DQ 41])0

What exactly do you mean? No matter what wings you use, (with the exception of your starting wigs) you will move at least 0.5 m/s faster. For example if you use the Eagle wings, you will move 5.2 + 0.5 = 5.7 m/s. Cash shop wings start at +1.0, giving you 6.2 m/s air moving speed.0 -

pretty sure base fly speed is 5.0
when on land your wings of protection give you bonus speed to move, which you loose that in the air0 -

since the crabs don't have a magic atk, the fact they are fire based is only relevent to their def (meaning they have stronger fire and metal def, but weak water def). So your fire defense is completely irelevent to that mob (otherwords only ur physical def matters against physical atking mob)0 -
As soon as you are able start grinding the terestrial foxwings north of misfortune. when i was lvl52 i could kill them wothout getting hit (frost, 2 normal shots, knockback, 3 normal then dead) and as flying mobs they give great exp. then move onto the the lvl60 foxwing supremes east of bamboo village when you can0

I believe that the wings' speed is added to your running speed (5.2 m/s).0 -

I believe Mosz was correct.
If you use a charger orb when you are flying and then you land and start running, do you not speed up?0 -
