client program version is low?

Two threads in one day, yikes. b:cute

I have never had a single issue with the game until now. It always runs smooth and I have only been disconnected about 2 to 3 times in the last two and a half months I have been playing.

I signed in a couple hours ago and I noticed that the game looked fuzzy. (Not sure, it might have been my eyes) I had changed the gamma to lighter earlier today, because it was night and I couldn't see the monsters well enough. Now it seemed a bit light, so I changed the gamma again to darken it up. Then my computer crashed with the blue screen of death, which has never happened since I got Windows Vista over a year ago.

After it shut down, I now had other issues with my computer, so I tried a system restore. After that, windows wouldn't load. I had to use the Vista disk to repair and load windows.

Everything is better now, but when I try to log into the game I get the message, "Your current client program version is low. Please exit and update." I then went on PWI home page and downloaded the new patch, but when it went to load, I got the message, "Version and client are same."

I always keep my drivers update, so I don't think that could the problem.

What can I do to fix this? Thanks, and sorry to be such a pain today.

Computer Specs:
Windows Vista Home Premium SP1
32 bit OS
4 GB RAM
Intel Core 2 cpu 6600 2.40GHz 900MGz
NVIDIA GeForce 8600 GTS

OK, NVM Sorry.
I did a verify thingy and it works now. b:cute

I've seen few of these posts before and after a little googling I found out there's (on the forums that is) been only one fix for this, though it hasn't worked for everyone.
That fix is to reinstall the game.

This is the topic that mentions the problem: http://pwi-forum.perfectworld.com/showthread.php?p=786731
and the fix is confirmed in the last post of the thread.

I'm really hoping there would be an easier method but so far to my knowledge this is the only one.

    EDIT:

Should have read your message a bit more carefully before I posted. Good thing you got it working without the reinstall.
