Item stat clarification

Pockums - Heavens Tear

What exactly is the difference (if any) between the stats:
Physical Attack +xx versus Max Physical Attack +xx (other than one says max and the other doesn't)

Also assuming the answer is the same for other ones like, mag attack vs max mag attack

Hazardus - Heavens Tear

+atk adds to the weapon damage.
So if base wep damage was 100-400, a +50 attack stat will make damage go from 150-450. (I think).
The +max attack stat adds to the weapon's max damage so,again a 100-400 wep with a +100 max attack stat will make wep damage go from 100-500.

I think max attack stats have a lager bonus than the normal attack stats. But this is offset some by the random range of damage.
