Greater Cyclone is usually going to be the best skill of the two due to mastery and casting time. The extra half second for plume lowers the DPS compared to cyclone on most mobs. The 20% dmg boost means you can cyclone a metal mob and still deal better DPS, and often better dmg, than you would using the physical dmg of plumeshot. The demon speed reduction will help some, but only against metal mobs. Cyclone is a clerics best friend.

Also you will want to use elemental dmg against light armor. For me, best way to kill barbs and everything but robes is through my elemental spells. Same thing should work for an archer, since they get the debuff to metal ability to boost the rest of their dmg. That would be after their stun crit kill attempt and the charm has ticked for a quick 2 hit combo.

thts y i favour Evasion buff like other MMOs used to offer..Evasion for archer is liuke thier weapon.....i really felt Archer is very badly built in this game...if i knew tht in the beginning then i wud have made veno(overpowered) or bm(coolest after 70s).
unlike other mmo, this game dont offer evasion and stun is really pathetic..i mean cm on.. arcehr stun works for 3 secszzz.....its jsut one shot u can do in tht and also u get a pathetic WInged shell which works for one shot magical hit b:chuckleb:chuckle WAT A BUMMER ...D
cleric sleep is like ahh godly skill LOL.....makes me "ZZZZZ'
for more tahn 8 secs....adn wat do i get in those 8 sec...a hit which gets more tahn half of my bar P.....or if luck-by chance i wore that winged shell...then i get first hit around 230+ and second around 2.3k+ PPPPP....
anbd yeah stupid arcehr stun takes more time to get lost from bow than cleric's sleep...i mean cm on we are archers.. we are fastest but no..developers decided to give cleric, more speed D


i say make Veno as thsi game offers one so much overpowered to get real money for their costlier-than-life pets b:laugh

i always spam great cyclone, even on metal mobs if they're physical(to kite). only time i really ever use wield thunder in pve is when i know it can kill the mob in less hits, other than that i don't even touch it.

i know how archers fight(it's the only thing white named other than 9x bms and wizards b:surrender). i try to avoid barbs, even with max spike skills, they can still live(and they say venos are op). the only real thing in pk i fear is an archer with 10~20 levels on me(crit 2k through plume shell b:surrender) and a bm that raises their stuns. i have been stunned for more than 20 seconds before, it wasn't fun.

From personaly experience can advice in duels vs clerics - use serrate arrow -their shell cannot protect them from it - they get confused wheter to hit or heal themselves. This DOT skill is really useful against clerics' shields.

Please stop telling people to use DoT in pvp.

Its dumb, its weak, it will get you killed.

huh...this is the only usage of that skil I have found out. In fact I hate DOT skills and consider them for very useless butin this case...it really works. Something more - when I use it in duels against clerics with shell...I usually win. IF I don't -I usually die. I am not god in pvp - just gave advice cause that skill really helped me against clerics in duels. That's all. Maybe I am wrong but who cares...when this skill helps me...

.....can you GTFO? 1v1 clerics can beat almost anybody, but archers are a gank class which shines in mass pvp and ganks.

When you are low lvl with skills that aren't even maxed, of course you don't stand a chance against a class you need skills to kill. Any cless can pretty much kill any other class with the right conditions, yes, even barbs can die to an archer at high lvl, because 3ple spark increases dmg enough to kill even a barb.

A pure dex archers (9X) can 1 shot a cleric (9X).
Just triple spark, Deadlyshot.
or Sharpened tooth, triple spark and deadlyshot.

if the cleric uses plume shell, switch to metal shot instead of deadlyshot, it does more damage against plume shell.

So not true lol.. people always underestimate certain classes. Archer will die within 3 shots if he hasn't got enough HP lol

The same could be said about clerics, wiz, and venos. So i am not sure whats your point here.

Um....Triple spark on any class kills anything.

Lol?. They don't last as long as barbs and hit for jack damage. I only find fist BMs particularly annoying. Usually people consider Archer Vs. BM as a class advantaged duel...

Duels are ok I guess, I can beat people higher then me with ease sometimes extra kiting. I don't have troubles with clerics usually, I duel them once and I watch what they do and if I lose..Re-duel because now I know what there going to do. I personally Love using stun and deadly shot, its one of my favorite combos or if Im in PK mode Ill double spark and deadly shot then use stun and finnish off with what ever if they haven't died after that, I won't comment much on what class beats what because I've seen some odd loses. Should a archer beat a robed cleric? Yes in most cases, Im only 62 so I can't comment much on other levels and classes as Im not to experienced yet especially being in a PvE server. I think Im doing ok though with my openings and combos, sometimes I get a spaz click and click a random hotkey xD. I guess it all deppends on the combo of skills used and the gear and alot of stuff really, duels are a little shakey though, Archers having no charm and Clerics having there sheild and stacked heals so it throws that off a little but then again if our stun hits Im gonna gaurentee you that your dead atleast thats how it works for me xD sometimes!
