Grinding Question

Ok so I am level 51 at the moment and I got there by grinding on Foliagen Spirit which according to the database should drop Martin Nest which I need a lot of to feed my Hurc. So I thought it would be a good idea to grind for xp and meat there. Well I killed about 500 Spirits(lvl 61) and I got 2 Martin Nests...wow not good odds. So my question is will I start to see drops more frequently when I get closer to the same level as my enemy? Like maybe when they are white named? Thanks for help.

    You are too low level to kill any mobs that have a decent drop on Martins Nest. I kill the Elysium fowls for these, which are around level 75, and these are one of the best drop rates.

    You're probably best looking for mobs which drop fine meat. (or just meat)
