Some Basic Questions, Please help.

1. When a creep shows [Wood] on its icon, what does it mean?
It means it has high wood resistance, or it has high wood damage? So as a player, we should have high metal dmg to kill it, or should have high wood resistance to protect from its attack?

2. When a item says +magic attack, what kind of attack is that? I mean like it's metal, wood..... or combo of all?

3. Does Evasion dodge physical attack, or it dodges physical damage only? For example, if an archer cast Blazing Arrow on you, if dodge sucessfully, will you avoid all dmg, or will you avoid physical dmg only, but still take the fire dmg from it?

1) both. It means it's wood element, so it's weak to metal and does wood damage.
2) Magic... Like, the spells a cleric casts.
3) Evasion dodges physical attack I think.

In anycase [Wood] means it does wood damage, so the higher your wood res the better, it also means that the opposite element, in the case of wood, metal, will od increased damage.

Magic Attack in itself is non-elemental, what matters is what element the skill utilizing it is. If a spell says it does metal damage it does metal damage only (unless some buff adds another element(s) as well).

Evasion means you evade the entire attack, it doesn't matter what its other effects are unless you get hit by it. Also isn't blazing arrow a buff?

In 3 years of WoW I never once heard that term used in reference to mobs....

more like a warcraft player.. creeps were the npcs on maps that you went around killing with your hero for items/leveling exp

Magic defence is divided into those elements.

Because you are a cleric, you will have much more of a defense against magic attacks, and will deal metal attacks. Every class has there own element for attack and as such will find some mobs more suited for them then others. I can tell you that us clerics need to be very careful are those that deal physical damage. Our strength is in the magic.....b:pleased

Sorry one more thingb:chuckle....If for example the mob is "Wood" this means that it is weak against Metal damage/attacks. If you want to see the element that will "hurt" it the most you can scroll over the element under the mobs name and it will tell you. Fire is weak against Water attacks...Wood against Metal....etc...Needless to say there might be some magic resistance in every mob...
