how do i spur a mount

i just bought a mount and a spur . . how do i use the spur . . .

i need to lower its lvl to be able to hatch/ride it .. .

    take the egg and the spur to the Pet manager in Arch, then choose upgrade of rides, select your mount, drag in both items there, and done
