Question on PVP

okay I'm pretty sure this isn't the right thread for this
BUT I didn't know where else to go and since this server is PVP anyways I thought I could put it here.

PVP servers you can basically kill anyone anytime anywhere except safe zones.
Well Thats greats but I had a Question.

If someone kills you, What do you lose?
Exp, items? I'm not sure.
When you pk someone do you gain anything?

Because I would Love to join the New PVP server rather then the New PVE server. But It just all Depends I guess.

    okay I read it.
    I got some good info i can only loose equiped items if I go red or whatever not if im pink :P
    but inventory items can be lost while killing monsters or getting kild by somebody and no EXP i believe since i didnt read on that :]

    Nope no exp lost in PvP. Basicly what its saying is if you kill your drop items, if you dont kill you wont drop (well 1%).

    Also you pk without going "red named" often in PvP servers a small fight will start, there are many hot spots for pk. In this fight most people will have a pink name as they are fighting. This means you can join in, kill them and after you have finished your name will go white in a couple of mins. Also killing people "red named" will not get you "red named".

    On LC i would say 96-97% of the population are whitenamed.

    You can also buy GAs (Guardian Angels) this will mean you wont drop items/loose exp under any death (PvP or PvE). They sell at about 30-35k ingame. A 10 pack from Boutique is 2.90G.

    Ah so this PVP server will be just like a PVE server except If i decide
    "hmmm I want to kill him"
    I can do that then continue to grind :P?
    I don't see why people don't join the PVP servers to begin with >_<

    Well you can get randomly PKed which can be anoying, but if you dont whine at them then you can just go back to grinding, odds are if you whine they will kill you more b:victory

    Also KoS (kill on sight) a faction may declare KoS on your faction, basicly this means you and them are at war. As soon as they see you they will attack. Dont matter if your afk, fighting a boss, whatever you will be killed. But of course they do this then you call in your big guns to kill them and then they call in more and so on a then big PK fest starts up :P

    You might also get attacked for a grind spot and stuff like that.

    Someone you may have PKed an hour ago might come back with a squad to get you and so on. tbh PvP servers are far more exciting and fun than PvE. Esspecialy at the higher levels (90+) where PvE servers are so boring it hurts.

    aha Yes indeed That would be so annoying hehe
    Especially if Killing a boss and he was almost dead. Lol.
    And I usually have it so no players show on the screen so I would always get surprised attacked :P

    I think that I am liking this.
    especially the KoS aspect of it all seems fun.
    I'll most likely be a Cleric So I dunno how fun that would be though.
    Probably I will get picked on

    Cooki, seems your having different thoughts now on which server to join. Last we talked you seemed pretty adamant about doing the new PvE server instead of the PvP server.

    Well if u plan playing on pvp server u need to get some friends for sure to defend ur spots when u ll get 30+.

    All in all on pvp server u cannot be sure when and who ll attack u there is no pk mode switch.

    red = around 10%
    pink= 50%^^
