1 Gold = about 100-110k, allthough on Sanctuary it is about 130k since the Valentine disaster.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0

The typical price is 1 gold for 100k coins.Main characters

Hard to find that price in the auction house though. I know you sell it low, but most people allways ask more then 100k. But that is the price standard they use when selling Boutique items (e.a. one gold charm (4 gold) = 400k).[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -

I see players using WC quite often to sell 1 gold per 100k coins. The gold itself, not the items.Main characters

A person would tell you what item they want to buy out of the cash shop, you would buy it for them and sell it at the 100k per gold ratio.Main characters

The gold itself, not the items - got it.Zoe - Heavens Tear wrote: »A person would tell you what item they want to buy out of the cash shop, you would buy it for them and sell it at the 100k per gold ratio.
The items, not gold itself? Uh, are there, perhaps two Zoes?0 -

That is selling the gold. The items themselves vary in price, however selling the gold directly like this is the exact same thing as the players having the gold themselves.Main characters

So to be clear if I wanted t sell my gold to a player I cant do that.
I have to offer to buy them the item they want from the boutique? efor each gold I use I can charge them 100 K for it correct?0 -

Yes. The point Zoe was trying to make is that some items don't sell for a 1g = 100k ratio. The panther is a prime example, they typically run about 800k but cost 10g. Most of the mounts follow this trend actually. Generally speaking, though, lower cost but high demand items such as training scrolls and GA's will sell for a bit higher than the ratio would indicate.
If you offer to sell 1g for 100k though, you're pretty much honor-bound to buy them whatever they want, regardless if you could sell the item for more on your own.0 -

Technically, they are selling the gold for coin, but they are doing it by trading the items they can get from the cash shop for the coin to bypass the AH gold trading system, and thereby keeping the cut the system normally keeps.
It also prevents other things from happening as well, but that's neither here nor there.
So, in essence, they are selling the gold for coin while the player with the coin gets the cash shop items they would have bought anyway.
So, it's both, if that makes any sense.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0
